No stars if I could . Today 06/29/23 , just like any other Tuesday and Thursday after practice I took my kids to McDonald’s, their favorite place. Today was different however, very , very different. I experienced the most racial encounter at this location by a lady who claims she is the manager and her name is Nicole. I am disgusted and so where several others who witnessed and left without ordering. Nicole stated she didn’t have to serve me all because I stated my order was incorrect. I did not speak loudly, or act in any rude manner . I just simply expressed the dissatisfaction I had with my order. Nicole stated she doesn’t even have to serve me since I want to complain. I asked her to please just fix my order and explained my children are waiting at the table to eat. She then took my order back and held my food and directed her crew not to give me my food until she says I can have it . I sat there embarrassed and confused . what did I do to deserve that? I then asked an employee if I could speak to another superior or Have the number to cooperate. Nicole directed them. not to give it to me and Then she yelled and she would calI the police on me and tell them it’s a black lady threatening her . She completely lied on me then added the fact that she will stand on her behavior. Which is a threat to me.later I was told by another employee that Nicole had a black significant other …What does having a black spouse have to do with what is going on and how she treated my family and I ? The way she was acting she couldnt have a spouse of color because she just degraded the whole race with her many statements made .It is 2023 and still this behavior exists it is disgusting. My children are in tears after hearing the police were going to be called for absolutely nothing and I am not a happy mom . I will never support a McDonalds again after the way my children and I where treated . I appreciate the crew member who apologized for Nicole’s actions as they where disgusted as well, but that isn’t enough . If you are a person of color this place hires individuals who are disgruntled by simple people of color who are humans just like them. Spend your money elsewhere. I spent close to $50 ,as I do 2 times a week after practice .in reality I paid for Food that was not even correct and gave money to a company who hires individuals who discriminate against minorities. Today reminds me that even though we are “free” we really aren’t “free “. Thank you Nicole for the constant reminder. Nicole you need help, I will continue to teach my children to pray for sick people like you ,hurt people like , I genuinely feel sorry for ,because of people like you unhappy with your own self , this world...
Read moreI rarely ever give negative reviews as I work in food/customer service so I get it, and I never have issues with this location, but tonight was a different story. Tuesday, July 15, around 6:30pm, We ordered through our app, chose counter pick up and went to get our food, like we’ve done the thousands of other times, well when we showed up it showed our order being processed on the screen above the pick up counter, one of the workers asked if we needed something, we showed her our order and it seemed like they didn’t have it or know where it was. She grabbed who I assume was the manager, he was extremely rude and had an attitude with us right off the bat, he then proceeded to tell us it’s our fault that they don’t have our order because he said that we didn’t choose counter pick up even though we did and it showed our order being processed on their pick up screen. We showed him the app and even our email receipt showing we placed it for the pick up counter but it seemed he still didn’t get it. I’m honestly not even exactly sure what he thought the issue was. He told us that he would do it for us this once but next time we need to make sure we do it correctly, his exact words. At this point I was extremely irritated and told him there’s no need for an attitude, that we would happily wait for our food but we didn’t do anything wrong, he kept cutting me off and talking to us like we were idiots and we were trying to tell him that we did what he said we should have done. It’s like he was refusing to listen to us and treat us like we were an inconvenience when something on their end messed up and instead of just owning up to it he copped an attitude and tried to act like we were the problem. I got mouthy because you’re not about to treat me like that when we said we would wait, I know I would be fired immediately from my job if I ever treated a customer in such a way. We did get our food and everything with that was fine, but to treat your customers like that is wrong. Read moreAfter walking in and standing at the counter to order, multiple crew members walked by without greeting or offering to take an order. After a while I turned around to notice the kiosks that were not immediately apparent when walking in the door because they are kind of off to the side.
We filled our drinks and then discovered that the napkin dispenser was empty, I then headed back to the very ignored counter. Stood there for a while, the crew member that was mopping yelled across the restaurant to another co-worker to tell them that somebody at the counter needed something.
I was then "greeted" by her and when I asked for napkins she clicked her tongue and then grabbed me 6 napkins.
Now at the end of my kiosk order I was asked for my table tent number. When sitting at the table with my kids I kept hearing them call a 3 digit number out, my tent number was 24.
Eventually somebody came to the back with my tray and said "oh here they are".
Part of my order was a salad and the Kiosk had asked me which dressing I would like. There was no dressing or fork included with my food.
I then went to the counter to ask for a fork and the dressing that I had ordered, the gentleman who appeared to be the manager (he was wearing a tie) grabbed a fork for me but then turned around and told me that the dressing wasn't free.
After explaining that I had ordered a salad he went back and grabbed me a dressing packet.
While we were eating, the same exact thing happened to the table next to me, they were all calling out another 3 digit number and then somebody started very loudly calling out the number.
When they realized it was their food, that crew member told them their food was at the counter and she went back to mopping.
One person from their table went up front to grab their food and another person at the table looked at me in bewilderment asking why we had the tents if we were just expected to stand at the counter and wait on our food anyways.
