I have been stopping here off & on for about 2 months now. I'm a senior citizen with disabilities. I order the Big Breakfast usually. The first & second time I had it was being handed to me before I left the register. I said nothing. The next time, I asked it they could make it fresh, please. I got some disgruntled looks and mumbling, but they did. I Usually only have one refill on my coffee. Two days ago I went to refill my coffee. What I now know as the Manager (AJ) did the refill. I asked for 4 creams & 2 sugars. He asked if I wanted those in or out? I replyed it really does'nt matter. He then snapped at me (quietly), just finish your meal & leave. Shocked at this overly offensive attack, I thought he was just having a bad day. This morning I get here wait to order, was left standing there for aprox. 5min. Then asked what would I like? I ordered a sm. Coffee & Apple pie. She walked away and started helping others and had not taken my payment. Leaving me standing there again. Then comes over to me later and says: I'm sorry, but my Manager said I'm not allowed to serve you!!!! I take the bus, it only comes by here every hour. My personal business I attend to usually starts 9:00am after breakfast. I eat, drink my coffee, and knit or crochet a little if I have it with me, then go to catch the bus.
I intend to continue this! To deny me service is to cause me great discomfort and is truly Elder Abuse. Your Manager owes me an apology for his overly abusive, uncalled for, power ego.
I also expect to be contacted by a...
Read moreI haven’t been here in a VERY long time, just feel like that should be said right now.
TLDR: I broke my ankle 10+ years ago on the playground, and I hope they fixed the design of it to be safer.
When I was a kid, maybe like 5 or 6 years old, my family and some friends came here for my birthday, we came the night before my birthday to have fun and eat and laugh, play on the play set. It was one of the most memorable nights of my life, but not in the way you’re thinking.
The indoor play area is where we all were, I was coming down the very wonky stair case, which had steps way too far away from each other in height. (I’m not sure if that is still the case though because there aren’t any clear pictures of the play area where I can see the steps)
Well I was coming down to get a sip of a drink and the last step was a good foot or so off the ground, with a holey foam mat at the bottom, I stepped off and twisted my ankle, I thought it was just twisted, but no, we found out later that night just how bad it really was.
I continued to play and had a great time, it wasn’t until I had gotten out of the car and heading up to my house that I started having an issue walking, when I had gotten inside we took a closer look and my ankle was swollen and bruising, so we went to the hospital where they told us yes it was broken.
I laugh about it, but it really wasn’t that funny, I think there should be stricter codes about this kind of thing, and I really hope that with the playground of today, they chose a safe option instead of the...
Read moreYou have to order from the kiosk, which is fine (I actually prefer it). However, it's like your drinks never existed. They don't deliver them with your food and when you go to the service counter (where, mind you, nobody is there), you have to wait until someone peeks out from the drive-through or kitchen and they simply ask you what kind of drinks you had. No accountability on the order. Also the kid that gave us the cups (who frankly seemed to be the busiest person on staff) did not look old enough to be working there, but that's subjective observation on my part. The cups were the wrong size for the drinks we ordered, but after finding out half the soda fountain was not dispensing properly, we didn't even care enough to try to exchange them (with free refills, it's kind of a moot point). Lastly, the food delivery at the table had something to be desired. The person would walk up and practically toss the tray across the table next to your number and then run away before you had the chance to ask any questions (like "where are the sauces from our order?"). The food was what was expected from McDonald's, so I'll give full marks there, and I gave an extra star because it is one of the very few remaining McDonald's that still have a PlayPlace our kids can enjoy and it was actually open. Otherwise, this was a pretty...
