From where we were parked I could see the area they place the trays ready to be delivered. The screen said the car hop was on the way with our order. I could see our order for 5 minutes, completely ready, be passed over while they completed 3 others and delivered them to the cars. Including one that had to have 2 ice cream cones made up while our hot food was sitting there cooling off. When our food was brought I asked why our order kept getting passed over and before I could finish my question she says she's the only car hop working that night. At one point another lady starts to pick up our tray to carry it out and sets it back down so that tells me someone else could have helped the "1" car hop. This was at 9 pm on a Friday. They need to have more than one working on busy nights plus train them better so the older orders aren't sitting there getting cold. I ordered bbq sauce and miles down the road I realize I'd been given 2 honey mustard. The tater tots with cheese were very good. They didn't taste like old grease like my popcorn chicken did. And my husband said he liked his chili cheese coney. It didn't have onions so if it's suppose to come with them that's something else that was wrong. The drinks were correct...
Read moreMake sure you don't order a cheeseburger without any modifications. I guess they make a bunch of regular ones in large batches, so there's a decent chance you'll bite into a nice cold one.
They apparently can't issue refunds at the store either, so you'll have to call a number, request a refund, deny their offer of a coupon, then have them escalate your issue to the next tier of support which will give you a call you back "in 24-48 hours" to actually give you your money back. It is now 5 days later. I have called back twice to get any sort of progress made on getting my money back, and have yet to speak with or hear back from anyone with any privileges to actually fix my issue instead of offering me coupons. After 6 days and calling customer support 3 times, I asked to speak to someone that could resolve my issue today, and finally got called back a few hours later to issue the refund (which will take another 7-10 business days...). What a customer-hostile refund process... I know it's not a big deal, "it's just a burger, relax," I just felt motivated, in part, by their antagonism to fix...
Read moreWow! Probably one the worst experiences at Sonic I've ever had! I always like to give "new" establishments the benefit of the doubt, but they proved otherwise! My last & final visit I sat in a stall for over 7 minutes pressing the "red button" numerous times without an answer! I finally decided to give the drive-thru a shot and boy was that a huge mistake! I watched multiple cars pull away because they were flat out ignored by the staff! I, myself waited just on principle and curiosity (of the possible wait-time), well 13 minutes later... NO ONE ANSWERED! I finally said "screw it" and went across the street to 7/11 for a slurpee.
A very disheartening and frustrating experience! I am curious how any of the mangers of this establishment are still employed!
