We went to this Popeyes drive thru with a coupon for a $20 family 10pc meal. We honestly wouldn’t have gone if it weren’t for the coupon. It came with 10pc chicken, two large sides, and three sauces. We ordered mac & cheese as one of the sides knowing there would be an up charge. The total was $25.97.
Anyways, we get to the window after 10 mins of waiting in a 4-car line and the guy tells us they’re out of mac & cheese. No big deal, we change our side and present the coupon. We are told by two workers that they won’t take our coupon, we’re supposed to tell them at the speaker, and they can’t change the order anymore… both of us know as former fast food team and shift leads that fast food POS systems allow you to change an order at pretty much any point, ESPECIALLY before the customer has paid. Given that they “can’t change it,” we were still charged extra for the mac & cheese that we didn’t get. Why they couldn’t tell us at the speaker 2 minutes before is beyond me. The $25.97 spent really should’ve been closer to $21.50 after tax. The workers were very short with us also.
Our appetites were mostly gone at this point and the food quality was less than mid. They also didn’t give us our sauces. The only reason I gave this two stars instead of one is because the biscuits and spicy chicken were good. It definitely wasn’t worth the trip and even more so because of the coupon issue. I would not recommend this location; this was a bad enough first experience that I wouldn’t want to go again, as there definitely won’t be any...
Read moreThis post is strictly about orders not being ready on several occasions.I guess it makes no sense to me that a place that makes a well liked boneless chicken never has any ready even when you order online 45 minutes ahead. The counter person can only do so much and I'm not upset at them for something out-of their control. It's a team effort to say " hey get some boneless going because we're getting low ". The last visit when this samething happened, the manager said out loud when the counter person mentioned my displeasure about no wings available responded " what can I do about it?". What he should be doing about it is keeping an eye on things and being a manager. Come out front and address the issue when the counter person says there is a disgruntled customer here. Instead of defusing things he made that comment and left his cashier to handle things. It was at this point that I became a little upset and voiced my opinion that it's his job to be a manager. He's right there up front and can see how much product is available as well as the orders that...
Read moreSoon as I walked in it felt like I was amongst a bunch of zombies. Just staring at me and no greeting. Then they proceeded to turn around and not acknowledge me standing there. After I move closer to the counter the lady walks to the back and the guy with piercing in his face says “be with you in a minute.” They seem completely miserable. I say I’m there for a pickup and he hands me the bag and tells me I’m standing in the wrong place and needed to move three feet to the left of the counter…if I’m the only one standing there why does it matter?? They don’t gotta worry about me coming back. So much attitude only for them to miss items in my order. The place if fairly new and last time I had an amazing experience. This time; just a bunch of workers putting out old food and salty attitudes. Got my money back from the app and now looking to use...
