The Flower Market On 7th — Local services in Fort Worth

10/10 do not recommend if you are looking to buy for a special occasion or holiday. My sister in law and I bought flowers for Mother's day that we preordered 2 weeks in advance and set a time to pick them up but this morning when we went to pick the bouquets we waited over 40 minutes. Now I understand that this morning would be busy for them because of Mother's day and they probably had a lot of orders but the fact that they sent us an email yesterday saying that our flowers were ready yesterday and we set a time to pick up is ridiculous. Also when we got there and called we waited 30 minutes until we had to call again to ask when our flowers would be out. We were told that they would go to the back and bring them right out but we ended up waiting another 10 minutes before we got them and the flowers that we were given didn't even look like the picture. Now I also understand that not every flower is going to look the same or have the same placement but the fact that we order a flower set that consists of all purple flowers and we got a bouquet that had all pink and white flowers is ridiculous and for the price that we paid for them makes it even more upsetting. I have never been to the shop during regular store hours so maybe it's a better experience but if they are going to continue to be selling bouquets for special occasions they need to work on their system so other people aren't having the same experience as I did. Super frustrated. I ordered flowers from here for my wedding on 5/31. I had a gut feeling and called 2 days before my wedding and they didn't have any record of my order. They assured me they could get my flowers in time and that they would be ready at 10am the day of my wedding. I was told they would call. The day of my wedding I called at 11 because I still hadn't heard from them and was told the flowers would then be ready at 2. Called again after 2 and was told the flowers were still not ready. We ran out of time waiting for the flowers so I ended up getting flowers from the grocery store so I would have something at my wedding. I finally heard back from the shop a day after my wedding telling me they were going to charge my card for the cost of the flowers. My husband talked with the shop and was told that they never call a customer when an order is ready (even though we were told we would get a phone call). Today I brought my girls with me to create a bouquet for myself and them. We explored the beautiful selections in their cooler, it was so hard not to just buy everything! In the end my daughter went with a "winter/summer/spring" theme and it turned out so gorgeous. Her desk looks so elegant now.

It definitely is a unique experience, more fun than a drive to the grocery store to pick out flowers that have already been arranged for you and that don't really look that fresh to begin with. This is the place to get your floral arrangements, as the pieces are fresh and handled with a lot of care. I had to run errands after visiting The Flower Market on 7th and they offered to hold them in the cooler for me so the bouquet wouldn't be sitting in the hot Texas sun the whole time! You don't get that kind of service anywhere, it's unheard of!
