Foster City Parks & Recreation — Restaurant in Foster City

Recently reserved (paid) for a table and drinking license at one of their designated spots. I did a ton of research about what foster city had available and finally settled on a location. I researched and paid well in advance (2-3 months). Then day of my event comes and another party had setup their things at the spot I had already paid for. I felt bad telling them to move, but I paid $230 for a specific reason. The other party didn't respond very kindly (understandable). I tried to call the recreation center and they said figure it out on your own or call the cops. Eventually the other party moved, but all of that conflict and wasted energy setting-up could have been avoided. Honestly, for that much money, the parks & recreation department could at least have either a sign or an employee there saying "this location is reserved". This stressed out 2...

They leave the soccer goal in the middle of the soccer field in Port Royal Park after most practices and most weekend games. The soccer goal is a public hazard for people trying to enjoy the park by taking walks, hiking, kids playing and mothers taking their babies out for a walk in their strollers. I witnessed a senior lady fall to the ground last year causing her to break her arm that she is still seeking treatment for. She has had a hard time moving her arm ever since the incident. It would be extremely thoughtful when practices and games are over for the coaches and the Pennisula Youth Soccer (or AYSO) organization to make sure the goal is properly secured in a safe place off of the soccer field and away from the park (like in the large storage shed they have for their equipment) for...

Just wondering. How long will ghetto-looking Mariners Point Golf Course be keeping our Bay Winds Park Closed? It's been over 2 months!! If it's the Golf Course that has a problem, why are we being fenced out of our park????? **So now it's been 4-5 months still no correct access to this park!!! A dirt road on blind turn is not acceptable. If the golf course isn't forced to make repairs why would they???? PLEASE!!! We need our park...
