This is a place that I go to somewhat regularly. The chips and salsa are above average. The house margarita is beyond yummy. That's right, I said yummy 😋. Upon arrival last night I noticed a sign on the door that stated that they were low on staff and the wait time may be longer than usual. They apologized for it up front. Not the most professional thing to do but it's a whole new world and they were trying to inform their customers. Over all my wait wasn't very long. My food was delicious as usual. This is a family operation and the sisters work hard all of the time and they get to know the regulars. I'm not a frequent flyer by any means but there are a couple of employees that know what I usually order and that makes me feel important. I would recommend Que Buenos in Fountain Hills to everyone. It's definitely worth the drive up the hill for a really good time, food and drinks. They are easy to find on La Montana. Just use Google...
Read moreWe have not been there in a very long time. We arrived. We were the only customers in the restaurant, we thought we would never get waited on. We finally get served. A couple more table of customers arrive. The server came back one time asking if we needed anything. We asked yes, could we please get some more salsa. She never again came to our table. The table next to us she brought extra salsa. We were finished eating. We sat patiently waiting to get our bill. Finally, my husband said, this is ridiculous, I am going up to find her and pay our bill. We live in Fountain Hills and I can tell you we will never think about dining here ever again in the future and we would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is just fair and this was the most inept service. I could understand if the place was really busy, I could give a pass. Sorry, not sorry 😐. Do not recommend. Fountain Hills please get some decent...
Read moreI've heard mixed reviews about Que Bueno and decided to try for myself. Arrived on a Saturday around 2:30 pm and the place wasn't busy with the exception of four other tables. Our waitress was patient and helpful when we were unsure what to order. She gave us great suggestions, and I can honestly say my niece (13) was Very pleased with her food- tamale with red sauce on the side, ground beef taco, with rice and beans. She's a "Plain Jane" when it comes to her food. Rice was simple, made with no onions or peppers, and the same goes for the ground beef taco meat. I ordered the #5- red (or green) chili burrito enchilada style, shredded beef taco with rice and beans. Red chili wasn't hot or spicy at all, in my opinion flavorless. The meat inside had a great flavor, although some parts of it were very tough and hard to chew. Chips were ok, no salt added, and salsa was more tomato...
