This was the 1st time I've ever been to this restaurant. My wife and I attempted to customize our plates and were let down to find out the fried rice was already prepared within a large pot in the back and couldn't be altered to add shrimp or chicken to it. My wife wanted sesame chicken with chicken fried rice along with a with an egg roll, I wanted shrimp fried rice , w/ orange chicken and a wonton hoping the add ons would only be a slight upcharge. Due to the significant price hike for the custom options we just went with the traditional lunch option. She told us to wait 10 mins for Sesame chicken, fried rice and 1 egg roll for my wife and Orange chicken, fried rice w/ 1 wonton. The disappointment we experienced was enough to almost take it all back and ask for a refund. We also later found out after getting it home that the rice was not fried, had no veggies in it and tasted steamed, sticky and old. Despite ordering two different sauced chicken protein options they both tasted the same w/ one having sesame seeds. I have concluded that either someone bailed on a previous order costing them money which they gave to us or they tried to prepare for a lunch rush and overestimated the volume. For a 1st time experience, I am highly dissatisfied with their cuisine. Americans look for traditional American Chinese and this is not what we got.
I wouldn't recommend unless you catch them when they 1st open. I would also suggest checking you plates before you leave eventhough they staple the bags closed.
The inside setting is nice and inviting but small. The staff seems kind as well but the food is what makes...
Read moreThis place serves excellent Chinese food, but today my review is on their limited pandan and Dubai chocolate mini moon cakes.
Forget about the traditional moon cakes you know and love. After eating one of the mini moon cakes from Chopstix Fusion, you’ll probably want more!
What a special treat it was for the group to enjoy these especially made for the 2025 Moon Festival. The beautifully made green moon cake is the pandan flavored cake. Each bite is chewy on the outside, and the inside is creamy and soft, a little bit sweet with a hint of coconut. The fragrant from this dessert was light, and after eating one, you’ll want to eat another one.
The brown moon cake has an interesting taste. Like the panda moon cake, this cake is chewy on the outside, but the inside is filled with Dubia chocolate, which makes it crunchy. It is less sweet, but be warned: it will grown on you. Because of its uniqueness flavor, you’ll want to search for it: the taste buds leaving your mouth to your tummy.
Wendy Tong is the master creator for these perfectly sized moon cakes. She also makes customized cakes for all occasions. You’ll have to contact her at Chopstix Fusion for the many examples cakes. Folks in the Denver area flock to her shop and order these cakes, especially made per their request, and with Wendy’s creativity, these cakes are...

Chopstix Fusion is located in a modest little shopping center, but it hides a big personality inside. They've got everything: a quick stop for milk tea, a sit-down restaurant, and home-made desserts.
The menu has two sides. One with Americanized Chinese dishes, and the other is traditional Chinese, which I highly recommend you order from, or consider it on your second visit.
My partner's favorite appetizer is always crab cheese wonton. I'm particular about them, but theirs were so yummy! It came with a thick sauce, and a perfect balance of onion inside.
I got the Beef Flank Soup with flat rice noodles and it was made with so much love. The beef was gorgeous, and the broth was so refreshing.
I encouraged my partner to try Mapo Tofu. He's literally day two post-surgery, and despite the pains, couldn't get enough, lol. They let him know it came with pork, and I love that, because he's vegetarian. They modified the dish for him and it was gorgeous.
Service was so attentive. The sit-down area is small, only a couple of tables, so it's an intimate atmosphere.
Really lovely spot. We will...
