We can’t say enough good things about Hypnotic Chicken in Steamboat Springs—5 stars without a doubt! This spot is a total game-changer for anyone craving bold flavors and a fun vibe. We ordered the chicken sandwich, kale salad, and fries, and every single bite was pure perfection. The chicken sandwich was juicy, crispy, and packed with just the right amount of kick—hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The kale salad was a refreshing surprise, loaded with pepitas, cranberries, and a sesame vinaigrette that made it anything but boring. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and seasoned to perfection—impossible to stop eating! The atmosphere is laid-back yet lively, perfect for kicking back after a day on the slopes or just enjoying a casual meal. We went and ordered a plethora of food for the family in the drive thru. The line was long and there was only enough room for 4 or 5 cars without having to wait on the road behind the building.

My favorite item was the fried pickles. Everyone liked the fries but my daughter was not a fan of their ranch dressing. We ordered a bunch of chicken baskets and a spicy chicken and waffles. The chicken itself was slightly under seasoned and it didn't have a thick crust as I was expecting. The spicy chicken and waffles were underwhelming. I'm not considering the fact it was takeout and the waffle was soggy, there wasn't that pop of flavors you expect. Some butter on the waffle and a crunchier chicken might have saved it. The texture and flavor just fell flat.

Been here several times now and they are always consistent and food is always fast and delicious.

We usually get wings but this time we also tried the Hypnotic chicken tenders and the cheese curds as an appetizer. First of all, the tenders were literally perfect. Juicy, cooked right and the level of heat that keeps you drinking your beer (thank goodness they have a great selection on tap) but not burn your face off. Loved. The spicy cheese curds were also fantastic, I would not recommend letting them get cold because they get a little weird. Great level of heat on those as well. Not for kids.
