I had the displeasure of dealing with Leah today. I ordered a venti cold brew. When I arrived at the window she was taking another order and had her hand out the window with card machine. I was struggling with the machine and took it from her to insert my card and leave a tip. When she went to hand me a drink I said "I ordered a venti", she replied with "no, you ordered a grande!" I replied "no, I specifically ordered a venti." She turned away and started complaining to a fellow employee about me. When she came back to hand me my drink it was now overflowing with coffee down the side of the cup. I asked for some napkins to clean up the mess. Again l, I was met with attitude. When I asked her for her name she started talking into her headset "nothing, a customer was asking for a manager in the drive thru, but nothing happened " Well, that's not entirely true, I never asked to speak to a manger (obviously, I should have) and I was met with disrespect, rudeness and an employee arguing that I was wrong. Leah needs to get some retraining on customer service etiquette. Rule #1, never tell the customer they're wrong, you apologize and...
Read moreI requested my drink to be remade as it was not prepared correctly. In an oat milk brown sugar shaken espresso, the layering effect comes from the differences in density between the espresso and oat milk. The espresso is denser and settles at the bottom, while the oat milk floats on top. However, in the drink I received, the espresso was mixed throughout, which was incorrect based on my experience ordering this drink for the past year.
Despite explaining this, the staff insisted the drink was made correctly, which felt dismissive. The employee at the window, who had long dark hair, was also unprofessional and rude, stating, ‘I don’t know why we are arguing when I told you I would have them remake it,’ when I had simply asked for it to be remade. At this point, I requested a refund and mentioned I would just go to another Starbucks. The same employee then handed me something to sign but rudely snatched it back when I tried to return it to her. Given that I paid $7 plus a tip, I expect both the drink and the service to meet a...
Read moreThis store has officially become a joke — and the reason is clear: the same arrogant, skinny white guy with glasses who somehow still has a job here. I’ve walked in twice now, and both times he’s either been flat-out rude or giving off such smug, cocky energy that it ruins the entire atmosphere. He walks around like he owns the place, but what he’s really doing is running a disorganized disaster behind the counter.
Orders are backed up, the staff looks lost, and nobody seems to know what’s going on — yet he’s standing there like he’s God’s gift to Starbucks. It’s not confidence, it’s delusion. If management is turning a blind eye to this, then they’re part of the problem too. Customers should not have to walk into a coffee shop and feel like they’re interrupting someone’s ego trip just to get a drink.
At this point, I’m done giving this store second chances. If this is the kind of attitude you reward, you’re going to keep losing loyal customers. Corporate should take a long, hard look at who’s leading the shift here — because it’s...
