Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Fox Lake

So the ice cream was great but I really thought the customer service was not great. I took my 7 year old there for having a good parent teacher conference and good grades. So we wanted to do something special. Well the whole time my daughter (who like I said is 7 and wants everything and can't decide quickly) was looking for whay she wanted the women helping must have asked every 15 seconds are you ready? But not with a nice tone it wasnt what she said it was how she said it. After about the 3rd time asking I said I'll let you know when we are ready, BUT she continued too ask so my daughter started getting nervous and just spit out the first thing that came to mind which ended up being not what she wanted and when I asked why she got it she said because that lady was getting mad at me!!! I mean I know it wasn't special for the lady working but it was for my daughter and families go there to make special moments with there kids or others and with the hopes that it will be a good memory and I can honestly say that I will not be going...

The old Dairy Queen had a better system. Now the new one is always crowded, there are no obvious signs to direct people to wait for their online order or physical order. Today I was tryimg to get the free dilly bar and we ordered 2 things for $10+. The order said it'd be ready by 8;52 so we waited around then came back and they didn't have it ready. They just made it quickly and got sticky chocolate stains on my milkshake cup and we didn't even get a dilly bar. I may sound like it's picky to not get dilly bar but we bought these things and we didn't even get the free dilly bar they talked about. Then they tried to blame us for not having the app sooner. Customer service was not inviting the Employees are rude and have no Idea what they are doing. I waited 25 minutes for a lage Peanut butter shake that's ridiculous We'll not recommend it to a friend and we'll never come back. The old owners employees at least knew what they were doing. And they need to bring back the burgers and the fries and hot dogs cause I loved to come here to get a Burger, a fry and milkshake to eat for lunch. So don't ever go here. This...
