Horrible customer service with manager and cashier. Very disappointed to hear that the manager is a minister! In pic on far left. I believe he should reflect on how he speaks to people. There is no grace in his words.
I went to have lunch with a friend. As an appetizer i asked for guacamole and there was only one size on the menu for $3.50. I have never had guac there nor has anyone i have gone with, so when waitress brought bowl of guac i had no reason to believe it wasnt what i ordered off the menu. When i received bill i was charged $5.99. When i asked the cashier said it was the"homemade" guac and $5.99. I said that i ordered off the menu. No guac was made at my table just a bowl brought with guac, no reason to think it wasnt what i ordered since only one size on menu. The sign for the $5.99 guac was handwritten on wall behind register which i did not see until pointed out by cashier at checkout. She got manager and he was just as rude saying "if you didn't get what what you ordered you should have returned before eating" I tried to explained again but he would not listen and walked away. The cashier rang up with $3.50 and actually tossed my card back to me instead of handing to me. I said "i have never been treated so rudely" and left. My friend said she was quite suprised the manager acted that way since he was a minister and would expect a certain level of kindness and grace. I could not imagine my pastor being that way to anyone.
I pray for there souls to be filled with God's grace ao no one else would have to deal with...
Read moreCompletely “satisfactory.” They brought out chips and salsa, which was fine - except for the white stuff - it looked like queso but it tasted like mayo and sugar…VERY weird. The “El Trio” was actually pretty darn good. The margaritas were pretty good, too. But when the discussion came to dessert, my server “sold me” a flan. Wasn’t hard, because flan IS awesome, afterall. The problem was that the “flan” wasn’t flan at all (the rainbow sprinkles on the whipped cream should’ve been a clue). It was jello - like cheap chinese buffet jello. Flan is a custard (creamy, delicate and eggy). This was NOTHING like custard. It was disgusting. I took TWO bites (just in case I was wrong about the first one), and pushed it away. He obviously could tell because he never asked me how I liked it, or if I was ok or wanted anything else, or try to remedy the situation whatsoever. He just laid down the check and split. Bottom line, if something on your menu sucks… just tell me! I’ll order something else. Now, I’ll never be back or order anything again from this place because...
Read moreSo rude. I called them because I thought their menu said rice and beans but it said pico and beans. I came in to try and replace the beans with rice and they were so condescending and said “If you pay extra.” I said “For a replacement?” He said “Yeah.” and looked at me like I was dirt. Then I said “Well this pico looks old, can I replace this with something fresh?” He said “It’s made fresh everyday.” and the hostess beside him said “Well maybe because it’s hot outside.” That pico was starting to bubble, it was not fresh. I said “l’ll just keep it.” I threw my sides away in their parking lot and went and bought rice and beans from Don Pancho’s instead. I understand we misread the menu and may have sounded frustrated on the phone, but I was polite to them in person and did nothing to deserve to be treated like that. Yeah, never again. Not even for water. Not for this kind of treatment.
Edit: My food from Don’s saved this meal. Thank you...
