Update June 2023. This is still one of my favorite places to come relax and eat. This is the absolute cleanest restaurant that I have gone to. The tables are spaced apart. You have plenty of elbow room. They have games for thr kids. It is just a wholesome place to visit. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
The food is fresh and amazing. The chicken tenders are still made from real chicken. They are not processed. Love it!

Read moreI have fond memories of going to Sedley, VA with my Dad to pick up peanuts from Mrs. Hubbard when she was cooking them out of her kitchen. He would order a lot as he gave them to his employees, good customers and friends at Christmas. We had continued the tradition when I had my own business. I visited the new shop last year and was pleased with the array of products they displayed and was interested in the lunch menu but wasn't hungry. I came back this year to pick up some peanuts to give as host gifts and ate some of the best ham biscuits I have ever tasted. Next time, I will try the sweet potato ham biscuits. Perhaps because of Covid they have no samples available of any of the different peanut products that they sell nor of the wines and other gourmet items. Not knowing much about gourmet peanuts, I was not eager to spend the inflated prices without having a chance to try the product in advance. We ordered chicken pad Thai from the lunch counter. The store was not particularly busy, but it took over half an hour for us to get our food, and the portion sizes were very small.
