If there is an option to put zero I would! This place was absolutely the worst place with the worst experience we EVER had! We drove eight hours, pre booked three nights here. When we went to the room it was NOT cleaned, hair all in the shower, no clean liens, plastic used cups on floor and my kids pulled the covers back there was BLOOD on the bed. I immediately called down stairs and the lady working that evening looked in their housekeeping book and verified that the room hasn’t been clean that day. However they didn’t have anymore rooms available to offer us, or anyone to come clean it that night! She offered a refund, I paid 291. They only offered back 222. She told me I would have to call Priceline to get the rest back. I called Priceline and they claimed Manger Jay of the hotel refused to refund me! I called Jay he then claimed I wasn’t even getting the 222. That the lady that did the refund didn’t know what she was doing he was only giving back 136. He also claimed there was no one other than himself to speak with. I asked repeatedly for the phone number to a corporate office or the person that above him and he continued to claim he was the owner and manger of this hotel! It was they’re fault that we didn’t stay! They’re room was NOT cleaned and they couldn’t offer a replacement room because they had none available. If you could stay somewhere my advice to you is do so! I will NEVER again book with this place or any...
Read moreWe stayed here because we were traveling with a tiny dog and they accept pets. Unfortunately there are not many decent hotel choices in this area. We would never stay here again. The desk clerk, who spoke very broken English, worked from behind a thick sliding glass at the front check in-- I gathered he did not feel safe in the lobby. He made a copy of my driver license which he kept--he said it was their policy. He also made me pay CASH for the $10 pet fee(I could not put that amount on my charge card)-- I gather they are perhaps evading taxes because he did not give me a receipt. I think the IRS needs to pay them a visit to make sure they are paying their fair share. The hotel is very run down-- Satish Patel is the general manager and appears to not manage the hotel well. There are too few electrical sockets in the room-- the fire marshall in Virginia must be sleeping because I was amazed at the overloaded cord extensions in the room. I know this must be a fire hazard. The breakfast they advertise is a big joke. Nothing to eat really...cupboards pretty bare. We did not sleep well in room 101-- the lights from the neighboring Kangaroo convenience store penetrated through the flimsy window drapes all night long. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom was gross, including a broken toilet seat. We were glad to leave...
Read moreThe people running this establishment are extremely rude. My family and I reserved a room online and specially made the reservation for three adults. We checked in and everything was seemingly fine. When I went out to the car to bring in some bags a man at the desk called me over to tell me if I had an extra guest I would have to have them leave and showed me a sign that said "no visitors" I informed him that we'd made the reservation online for 3 adults. He then shook his head as if he didn't believe me and told me it would be an additional $10 if the 3rd adult was staying. I paid it reluctantly and told him I was disappointed with there service. 3 hours later when we were all sleeping when the room phone rang. It was the manager very obviously calling to argue with us some more about the policy. We informed him that we'd paid the extra money but we were still disappointed and we'd take it up with the online booking company. At this point the guy raised his voice at my wife and accused us of having even more people in the room. We decided to pack up and leave. We got our refund from the online booking site and went to another hotel. By the way management acted at this super 8 it seems like they are in the business of dealing with criminals rather than the business of hospitality....
