After searching far and wide for breakfast this morning, we decided to go to huddle house despite half our party having a negative experience at a different huddle house in the past. We walked in and were told to “sit anywhere” but every table was dirty but one. High chair for our child was filthy and sticky. We saw several serve safe violations like people pulling their pants up with gloves on and not changing them. Same guy also used a knife, wiped said knife on trash can, then continued using it. Food and trash on the floor everywhere. We waited over an hour for our food while people that got there after us were served and left before us. After an hour of us waiting, they realized we never got our order and they started making it. 25 minutes later, we finally all had our food. We were asked by a different waitress than the one serving us if we wanted drink refills and then she never came back. She actually asked us, said she’s be right back, then sat down with the people at the next table. The only drinks that got refilled were the two coffees one time each. We had to ask for silverware and were given plastic utensils. The bathrooms smelled awful and were about as cold as it was outside so no heat in the bathrooms? Read moreI visited this restaurant during hectic hour and I have to say my waitress Carly did an excellent job for the amount of tables she was waiting on. It’s was packed so I was okay waiting a few mins if need be. I was however very astonished about the manager on duty Malicent (not sure if I spelled her name right) there was one table that had been waiting to be seen in Carly’s section and the manager IN FRONT OF EVERYONE berated Carly in the middle of the restaurant for all the customers to hear about how the table had been waiting. Very unprofessional of the manager to embarrass an employee that’s waiting a lot of tables and doing her best. I don’t see the manager out helping wait tables. I see her going around helping the kitchen for clean up and making sure people have food. But I haven’t seen her jump in to help. If you need to correct employees, do so away from customers so you aren’t broadcasting to everyone. Carly was super sweet and professional with her service.

Read moreI visited this place yesterday about 7pm. Ill be better off going to Mels Dinner if you know what Im talking about. Some woman took my drink order not in uniform. I guess she was related to the evening crew. I imediately sensed unprfesionalsm. Later the waitres came by and just set at my table and waited for me to choose an item. This was out right rude and traffling of her. I felt rushed. I never got a refill and was going to be charged for a refill to go. When I was ready to pay my tab and she was getting the pad ready, she leaned over to see if I left a tip. She was disgustinly rude to me. The equipment was unsanitary even after it was cleaned. What Im saying is that the equipment is as old as the establishment. It shoul be shut down. It should be expected by FDA INSPECTORS. I WANT A REFUND BUT I LOST MY RECEIPT. I JUST WONT GO BACK.
