This is the local Buffalo Wild Wings by my house. The food is usually pretty good, but the service is a huge issue. I'm going to talk about one experience in particular. About a week ago, I decided to order wings on wing Tuesday. I placed my order more than an hour and a half in advance on the BWW app (love the app). My wings were supposed to be ready for pick up at 7pm. So I showed up at 6:50pm so I could pay right before they were ready. One customer who walked in just before me was thoroughly upset with their order and the fact that some of the things he ordered were out of stock. The employee blamed the website/application, "franchise operations", and the fact that the website doesn't cater to store specific stock. The customer made a good point that the staff had his phone number on file and could have called to ensure that his order was fully taken care of before he got there. Although I am not one to complain often, I completely understood where the guy was coming from. Then, to my dismay, my food was not done by 7. I knew it was busy so I figured that a few extra minutes would be no big deal. Other customers came in who also ordered in advance and seemed to be in a hurry so I figured I would inform them that they seemed to be running a little late. The customer who I was making small talk with while we waited for our food decided that it was necessary to speak to a manager after he realized that I had been waiting more than THIRTY MINUTES for my food. He spoke on behalf of multiple people when he expressed his displeasure. The manager gave the customer who stepped up and said something a full refund although he had only been waiting about five minutes. The customer told the female manager that if anybody deserved a refund it was the other people who had been waiting so long for their food. Instead, she brushed it off and said they were doing the best they could. In fact, she continued to explain it was the customers fault for ordering extra crispy wings. Yes, it is the customers fault that their own food is not done on time because we ordered extra crispy wings that take longer to cook. I finally got my food and of course there was no compensation offered. I did not really expect it, as I was more than ready to leave by that point anyways, but the staffing made it seem as if the customers were the inconvenience. This is not the location that sets the example of Buffalo Wild Wings and customer service. I would also like to include that out of the dozen's of times I have ordered food for carry out, no matter how busy or what time of the day, I have only gotten my order on time ONCE. If you place an order to go, make sure you show up twenty minutes after it's supposed to be ready, and hope you don't have to use your microwave at home because of the fluke chance that it is actually...
Read moreJune 2, 2021 - Where would a high school graduate, given any place to go out for lunch to celebrate, select ? Yup BW3 ! Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck! Slang used by those in the Ohio area where Jim & Scott started up their famous restaurant chain serving chicken wings in 1982.
Forty years later, 1200 Buffalo Wild Wings franchises span the U. S. ( including 10 countries) . I’d say they’re very successful! They specialize in a sports theme, with tv screens scattered around the dining area, playing several different sports events at a time. The memorabilia often highlights local sports teams & heroes!
The menu features average pub food . . . burgers, French fries, tater tots, pretzels, garden salads, and of course chicken wings! Their 21 sauces, and 5 dry rubs give any “wing enthusiast” a plethora of choices! I favor their Asian & Orange flavors of wings. I wish BWW would bake then fry their wings for that crispy crunch ? ( oh well) My Grandson would award them a full 5 stars !
As chains go, it’s the place to satisfy your desire for wings! (My neighbors seem to like my crispy wings smothered in Sweet Thai Chili 🌶 sauce)

Read moreCame in to watch game 7 of the 2024 Stanley Cup finals. The experience was poor all around. It took 10 minutes for the waitress to check in with us. It was not busy whatsoever. We ordered some drinks and asked for one of the TVs to be changed to the game. 10 minutes later we got drinks, but still no game. Eventually they do change one of the big screens to the hockey game. I ask if they will turn on the sound for the broadcast, the waitress says they only do that for "big games". I argue that though this is not a local game, it is literally the biggest game of the year in hockey. She checks with the manager, and tells us the broadcast may interfere with people watching other games. Nobody is watching other games but ok... The projection TV they put the game on has a case of the shakes. It's pretty bad, they should get that fixed. We order some wings, the wings are quite small. One of my 10 wings was rock hard and inedible. The sauces were good though. I finish my beer and 15 minutes goes by before the waitress comes back. She was not busy, just hanging out at another table talking, for 15 minutes... I don't order another, I close out and we move to the bar. Service at the bar was much better. Near the end of the second period, a waitress comes over to the bar area, turns off the lame music, and turns the sound on from the broadcast, yay! 30 seconds later, the manager makes her turn it off and put back the lame music. Apparently the manager doesn't like hockey. I used to like BWW, but this was pretty ridiculous. This will be the last time...
