First I want to say I ordering from them a few times and the food has been consistent. I'm not going lie I haven't had a lot of their food and that is only because I'm stuck on their beef lo mein. It is one of the best lo mein I ever ate. Their portions of beef is a lot and the noodles are very flavorful and delicious. The large bowl is huge It definitely can feed more than two people but it so good I'm not sharing. My fiance love the soft shell crab. She order it every time we go there and last night she definitely order 2 combo dinner. Also their cheese steak egg rolls are good as well. The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 stars is because I haven't tried more of their food and because of covid they was only doing take out but they are open back up and it looks very nice inside. So I will go back and sit down to eat and I will update with full experience of the restaurant. Update 2 years later and their food is still very good and very flavorful they definitely consistent. The portions are still very nice and the staff is still very friendly.

We weren’t impressed with the food at all. My 12 yr daughter who loves pho and drink pho at least once a month was very disappointed of the pho we got from here. She said the broth had no flavor at all. Calamari wasn’t fried enough no where near what they show on the picture in their menu. Meat tasted old on the papersteak dish. The only thing we all enjoyed was the eggplant with chicken and we paid $70 to eat one good dish in this place. I ordered mai tai that looked like Long Island iced tea and tasted like Long Island iced tea. See picture and tell me if this looks anything like a mai tai. After I complained and sent that back, I then ordered a tango mai tai since they said it’s more of the sweeter fruity kind one, it was the same thing they brought earlier except with extra syrup in it. Their spring roll had no flavor. I know my Asian food and I know my cocktail drinks, will not be returning here again

Outstanding food, excellent service, peaceful atmosphere. Definitely a gem for Frederick Asian Cuisine. This food is definitely some of the best I've had in Frederick for the cost. Prices were excellent and they had an extremely diverse menu. They also have a bar which is a plus, yet I did not get to try any of their drinks. the one thing that would stand out the most to me when going here is the service. They gave you hot towels and free wontons when you first sit down, which is a refreshing and relaxing experience. You can never empty your water glass or run out of rice, free of charge they will refill your rice in the middle of your meal. One thing to make sure, if you see a coupon online you must bring it in paper for it to be valid. Overall an amazing experience and definitely worth trying in Frederick. I will be back

Quite simply put this is the perfect Chinese food restaurant. Why? Because of the service and the quality and freshness of the preparation of food. In addition to that,This wonderful establishment and the people that they work for take seriously your requests for leaving out MSG and soy, As they freshly prepare your food. Unlike other places that will simply say oh the MSG isn’t everything we can’t avoid it, these chefs will go through the trouble of making each dish fresh and then if you want to have that left out, no problem on their part. Let’s face it folks a place that can’t do that is not making food from scratch. In fact it’s either Prepared in advance, or packaged at worst. This is one of the few remaining Chinese food places that will actually prepare your food from scratch, and thus be able to accommodate people who are avoiding certain ingredients. The food is also in a class by itself, using only high-quality meats. Have you ever had a fried Dish with breaded outside and very little meat inside? Or you fed up with poorly prepared Asian food? This is your diamond. You found the right place, and you can’t go wrong. The staff is friendly/caring/accommodating. They truly go out of their way to please. Thank you so much for not only taking my order today, as you have done in the past, but going back there to make sure that no MSG was used in my food. I appreciate every bit of effort you make for my orders.. What a wonderful find Modern...

We went there expecting a typical Asian carry out with a hand full of tables, and we're surprised to find a super friendly traditional Asian restaurant with well prepared family style meals, and a lovely helpful and efficient staff. We started off with a 15 minute wait to be seated, which was more than understandable, because the place was hoping on a Friday night, both dine in and carry out, and we didn't have a reservation. Once seated, we were immediately brought water glasses, fried noodles and a dip (complimentary), and a lidded paper water cup with for our toddler. We were given a few minutes with the menu, and once given, our order arrived very promptly and very fresh. We ordered two entrees, which came in large bowls, and bowls of rice, and we're given plates, to serve ourselves. I really enjoy this dinner format. Our water glasses were always kept full, and the wait staff were all very helpful and polite to us as well as each other. Our little girl did start growing restless towards the end of the meal, and as the portions were very large, we requested a box. They very kindly and enthusiastically packaged everything for us, as we'd seen them do for other tables, and sent us on our way feeling very impressed and excited to return again, although hopefully...

What a gem. This place is well worth the drive from Rockville! We had a large group tonight with 4 small children. The wait staff was very quick and attentive. The kids had their cups of water and coloring supplies before we all even got seated and crispy wontons with spicy duck sauce came out for nibbling.

We started with some appetizers - gyoza, calimari and shrimp. The dumplings were so delicate with a lightly crisped bottom. The calimari was fried in a light crunchy batter. The shrimp was also very light and crisp. What a change from your average fried appetizers you find in other Chinese restaurants.

Several people in our party got soups. Both the egg drop and hot and sour were wonderful.

All of the food was so flavorful. The combination lomein had a deep soy flavor as did the triple delight. The Hong Kong duck has very crispy skin and moist meat. Crispy beef was sweet and crispy. None of the dishes failed to impress - coconut shrimp, General tos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, all more impressive than any other local places.

Wait staff came to check on us several times, even changing out plates throughout the meal. They also entertained the kids and gave them training chopsticks. Everyone was really nice.

I highly recommend this place. I can't...
