This restaurant is a hidden gem! It’s easy to miss because it’s a house and looks like one. It’s the most unusual restaurant in Fredericksburg. It’s set up like a house and it just feels like you went to a friend’s to have dinner and hang out. You can sit at a table or around the coffee table or stand if you prefer! It’s not fancy inside because it feels like someone’s home complete with family pictures on every wall and televisions upstairs and down. There is a bar upstairs and more tables, couches and a coffee table. It’s small enough that you feel comfortable visiting with other guests there! The bartender, Rick, is the husband and co owner. He’s got a great sense of humor and can tend to all taste levels. The other co owner and Rick’s wife, is in the kitchen cooking but comes out to take orders, visit, and educate about her food. The food is Always different. Just like at a friend’s house, you never know what they will serve! I believe she is Indian and Indian food is definitely part of her culinary genre, but I’ve been told that she’s an artist with food and knows how to blend and create foods from several cultures. On the menu was some Italian and American fare as well. I had a huge piece of naan that she just made fresh and a bowl of beef curry that she said her mother used to make when she was little and she would eat it when she had a bad day. It was a huge portion and we Loved it!! They have many special events and apparently we missed Latin dancing in their courtyard the night before. I almost hate sharing how special this place is because I’m afraid it’ll get too busy, but there it is. Rehana’s is my...
Read moreI recently visited a restaurant in Fredericksburg, and while the food was undeniably delicious—some of the best I’ve had in the area—there were a few notable drawbacks. The service was unfortunately extremely slow and forgetful, which really put a damper on the experience.
The space itself is divided into two levels: You begin by heading upstairs to a cozy bar and appetizer area, though the lighting there was much too bright for my liking, which took away from the atmosphere. Then, you move downstairs for dinner, where the dining area is a bit cramped but definitely trying to create a charming vibe.
Overall, the food made up for the other shortcomings, but the slow service and lighting issues were hard to overlook. Still, it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and are craving...

Last night, I attended Rehana's Murder Mistery Wine Dinner and enjoyed every moment of it. The Owner/Chef Huda welcomes you into her passion project of a restaurant and with the help of her engaging team took a dozen of strangers on a interactive night of food and fun that at the end I left with new friends, that include some of the other lucky dinners but also a group of very special people gave us all such a great night. Rehana's is now one of my Fredericksburg...
