Sugar + Spruce — Local services in Fredericksburg

I no longer buy soaps or hygiene products anywhere but here. This is a family owned very well kept and awesomely laid out business in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg, VA. While you're walking around downtown you will literally smell this place before you see it. This place is a small shop but clearly whoever does the design nailed it. I'm a guy and i'm not into the foo foo lotions and stuff like my wife is but I love going to this place, it's comfortable and the people there don't rush or hound you while you look around. The associates are very helpful and they know EVERYTHING about the products that most of the time they helped make. Most of the products here are made by the family or workers that work in the shop so you don't have to worry about what garbage is in your products.

Now a $5 dollar bar of soap may put you off, it put me off at first too. But when I used the products I was convinced I would use nothing else. The cost is made up in the fact that these products are all natural and the smiling faces in the establishment made them for you. Some of the soaps are made up to look like cupcakes or other things very good artistic touches once again make you simple wonder "Should I use that?" So the short story is do yourself a favor and buy your products from here. Your are supporting a small business with great people and you're getting a better product to boot. My wife no longer goes to Bath and Body Works for anything but candles. If these guys start to make those then we may have to stop going to...

I dont know where to begin but let me start here, The customer service here is AMAZING! They are literally so helpful and welcoming. The store is very sanitary and refreshing. Everything is natural, the soaps and bath bombs are such great quality. They left my skin feeling sooo smoothe and the scent it leaves afterwards on your skin? AMAZING! Works better than perfume if you ask me...(this is if you decide to get scented soap they do have unscented). Also their candles smell soooo good and its looking like they last very long. Another thing I absolutely love about their candles is they work great on making the whole room smell so lovely 😍. I will be coming back here and I definitely recommend this place 100%! Their products are also safe for kids so dont be shy with you kids let them pick a few...

Super cute place. Bought some Christmas presents here. Bought myself a snowman bath bomb. After my relaxing, luxurious bath I had to rinse off the black stuff that was on my skin and scrub the tub with an abrasive bleach cleaner to try to remove the staining that the dye left on my white tub. It didn't all come out. So much for a relaxing morning. I was unable to give the snowman I bought for a gift because I didn't want to inflict that on my daughter. I liked the other products. The reason for 2 stars is that I reached out to the company through the contact form on their website to tell them what happened and received...
