Jon and Jessica (the owners) are PHENOMENAL and they truly understand the importance of the jewelry they make, sell, have, etc. Some places just sell jewelry to sell it. It’s subpar or “ok” quality, they don’t stand behind what they sell, and it just doesn’t matter much to them. But Fredericksburg Jewelers understand that the jewelry they are making and providing are likely for life changing and lifelong events, such as proposals, marriages, anniversaries, holidays or very special occasions, etc. You may be even just purchasing something for yourself just for enjoyment. It doesn’t matter, whatever the reason, you’re going to get the best quality jewelry at the best cost from people who truly and sincerely care about you AND what they do. I purchased my engagement ring and band from here. From the moment I walked in the shop, Jon provided me with personal and professional care I always hoped for when it came to making one of the most important purchases I’ll ever make in my lifetime. He sat down with me and really just wanted to know what I had in mind, what I knew/thought my future wife wanted, and explained every aspect imaginable to me in a clear and concise way. He’s very calm and understanding and super easy to ask questions to or learn from. The knowledge of what they do is incredible. Buying a diamond can be a very daunting and stressful occurrence. What do the “K’s” mean, how do I know I’m getting a good one, what size, what will look good in the setting, what setting do I get, what does this or that mean. Unless you’re a specialist in this area, you likely don’t know much about it. I certainly didn’t. Jon and Jessica take the guess work and worry out of the whole entire thing. It was the easiest and best buying experience I’ve had. The ring and band they custom designed for me is breathtaking. I can’t even put into words how blown away my fiancé was with it and how much she cherishes that ring every single day. I could have gotten her any ring, she’s one of those who wouldn’t care what size or type it was. But as any man would for the woman they are asking to marry, you want the absolute best you can get. And that’s what Fredericksburg Jewelers helped me achieve. The best possible diamond in the best possible setting for the best price with the best service. It’s a pretty simple thing to do if you care, but sadly, there are not many places like Fredericksburg Jewelers left. PLEASE do yourself a favor and skip the places at the mall or the shady shops out there. Buy your jewelry from here because as noted, they really do sincerely care and will take care of you beyond anything I could have imagined. You will be blown away, as I was, with what you get. This is a belated and long over due review.

Last May I went ring shopping and was seriously overwhelmed. I went to at least 8 different stores but wasn't finding what I was looking for, and then I stumbled in here. On my first visit I spoke to John's wife (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) and she was great at helping me custom design a ring. We went over ring designs and figured out exactly what I wanted to get and how much it would be. She wasn't pushy at all even when I suggested going lab grown (a few other jewelers practically scowled at me when I suggested it, like they just wanted to make more money off me.)

So two weeks later, I came back and intended to place my order. Unfortunately I didn't have the paperwork they gave me so we were about to start over again when John suggested we look at the rings he had so he could get a better idea of what I was looking for. Turned out he had exactly what I wanted to get my fiance and it was a natural stone, so I decided to go with it.

The purchasing process was great, no issues at all. Then I realized just how much of a deal I got on it when it got an appraisal. The ring is worth almost twice what I paid for it. I honestly couldn't believe it even after getting it appraised by a third party.

I proposed in Iceland and she absolutely loved it. She's super picky about jewelry and it was exactly what she wanted. We got it resized at no extra charge and are both very happy with the outcome. When it comes time to get wedding bands, no question, I will...

If I could give this place a zero star review I would. Very rude people to work with. I would not recommend this place. There are hundreds of other jewelers that will treat you better than they did. They are a scam. We did not scam them. We called about a service and they said yes and went ahead to ask if they did a service and they said they did. They gladly took the 45 something dollars from us.. There was no need to be rude about it at all. They were very rude to my husband. We only came to the shop because we called ahead and asked otherwise we would’ve went someone else. We are defending ourselves against from them attacking us. And like I said, we only came to the shop because we called ahead hours ago and they said they could Look at the ring.they said yes. So this whole thing about them being scammed by us is laughable . they walked away with $45 dollar’s when we didn’t even get anything in return, so who really is the scammer?. So what kind of scamming did we do? lol. We pay for what they asked us to pay, and we didn’t argue about that . Like I said, Very rude company full of lies. And I would say they told our guy it was $25 and then all of a sudden it jumped up to 45. And we didn’t argue we just paid.
