When I first placed my order, the cashier seemed to understand what I wanted and ordering went smoothly. I get my food quickly, but hear a smoothie I did not order get called. Not thinking it was mine, I waited until the next 5 or so people who ordered after me had gone, then approached the counter to ask about the mix-up. She had put my order in incorrectly and hadn’t bothered to clarify. When I tried to switch the order to what I wanted, which was a seasonal drink (the chai smoothie) she wasn’t even aware it was on the menu (despite the seasonal menu being displayed with the rest of the options). After a minute or two of trying, and failing, to tell her I wanted the chai, I was forced to switch to a different smoothie for the sake of just getting something for my money. She told me she would make it for me. 20 minutes later several customers have gone through, and I still don’t have my smoothie. Walked out because I couldn’t wait any longer. Awful experience, and I don’t plan to return to the location. If you’re going to offer seasonal flavors, the staff should know of them and know how to prepare them. Additionally, I shouldn’t have to wait close to an hour and ultimately leave without something I paid for....

I took my salad back and was undecided on whether I should allow another to be made or request a refund. I decided to allow another to be made. As I waited I began to feel as though I should not HAVE to pay for my order as a courtesy and a kind gesture from Tropical S. Maybe I'm old school. I am turning gray.
As the cashier re-made my order a gentleman walked passed me towards the back and I asked for a manager. He asked me what was wrong and I shared with him what happened. He proceeded to the back and said something to the staff then walked to the front of the restaurant talking on a phone. He then left without saying anything at all😳.😳 .😳 The young cashier explained that she couldn't give a refund without permission and if he left she could only take my number. Read moreI go to this location fairly often. I made a mistake with my order, and accidentally ordered the island green instead of the detox island green. I profusely apologized, as it was my first time ordering this smoothie. I didn’t realize there were two different island green smoothies. Right after I paid & before the smoothie was even handed to me, I immediately noticed my mistake and asked if they could swap it out for the detox island green instead. One of the girls flat out said “I’m not remaking this” and was complaining about it in front of me, her co workers, and other people in the store loud enough for me to hear.
