5.11 — Local services in Fredericksburg

Nice organized store in general, I tried to exchange a pair of pants I received as a Christmas gift. I did not have a receipt as they were mailed to me, wanted the exact same style just one size smaller......NOPE! Customer rep called the manager who advised, no receipt = no returns, exchanges, so basically no help! Did offer to sell me the right size I needed and I just looked at them like....Really? If you are planning on buying something at this store, save your receipts and if its a gift, tough luck. I usually do not post reviews but this one was a bit tough to understand, exact product for exact product only size difference. I called corporate and they were more than willing to help and are taking care of it directly with me. Wont be back to this store for sure. I understand if I was trying to just return or get a different item but exact exchange for size would have not been...

The only other review states "Very relaxed shop.".

I guess that's true.

I know that they close at 8:00 P.M., and I had arrived at 7:57 P.M. Deffenately my fault for being so close to closing time. However, I had purchased two of the exact same shirts that I was headed there to purchase that night already. The middle aged, short, brunet, femal employey was at the double doors when I pulled up directly in front of them. She looked me directly in the eye's bent down, and locked both doors. Then she turned her back to me, and walked to the back room. The lights turned out, and that was the end of my experiance with this store.

This is exactly why people use Amazon.

Perhaps this is the local store culture promoted by the manager, or perhaps the company's culture. I don't know, but I'm certain that my money will be...

Recently came in to buy some cargo pants. For me, the 5.11 TacLite Pro RipStop pants were the correct option. I am extremely happy with these pants. I wear them to the range, to the gym, and around the house when I want to be comfortable. They are everything that cargo pants should be.

Additionally, I'd like to say that the staff was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Finally, the store was well organized, and all the products were clearly labeled, and the shelves were all neat and clean. There was no dust and no missing price tags or messy unfolded clothing.

Thank you to 5.11 for doing such a great job. I will be back for my future...
