Though I have worked in the Freehold area for many years, I have only just recently gotten to try some of the pizza places located near my office. Two of the closest restaurants are ROMEOS in the Village Square Plaza and DUSAL'S PIZZA located nearby on Main Street.

The locals I work with have advised me that if I want really good subs, then go to ROMEOS. If I want really good pizza, go to DUSALS.

I decided to put both ROMEOS and DUSALS to the test. I bought a pepperoni and sausage sicillian pie from both establishments. The pie from ROMEOS was not very good. On the other hand, the sicillian from DUSALS was fantastic. It was a much higher-quality pie with a taste and crust texture that was incredible.

I only wish google would offer a very special 6th star. This place is very very good. My wife and I enjoy going tremendously. We make it a point to have their incredible slice (with mushrooms). We moved in the area 13 years ago from Bklyn. We know a thing or two about pizza. It is simply second to none. Perfect crust every time. Also there are other things in the menu that are very good. One being the mussels in marinara sauce, literally fantastic. The sauce will leave you speechless. The chicken roll comes with a full cup of sauce. We only eat at home.
