McDonald's — Restaurant in Freeport

I had went in yesterday and it wasn’t busy at all. (If it were busy I guess I’d understand the situation more) after I had ordered my food my total seemed off so I looked at the receipt and there were extra sandwiches added onto our order that we didn’t want at all. Okay.. that’s fine. I went up to the register explained the situation and just asked for a refund on the added sandwiches and to please not serve them to me as I didn’t want or order them. When I did receive my order my quarter pounder it was still raw, like slimy to bite into. I’m pregnant, can’t eat that.. wouldn’t eat that even if I weren’t. So I brought it up to the register showing them the raw burger and asking for a new one. Didn’t want my money back or anything I just wanted something to eat because I was hungry. They made it and gave it to me, I opened the box and everything about the sandwich was wrong. At this point I was done, annoyed. With the adding food to the receipt, giving me a raw sandwich then giving me the wrong one to fix it? I went up to the counter again, and asked for a refund and went somewhere so I could eat something for dinner. The manager I worked with was rude the whole time as if it were my fault they couldn’t do they’re job right after what is shown multiple different...

Lately we have had just horrible experiences with McDonald's, especially the one on West Street (not Galena St. they have been fine). This review is only getting 3 stars for the typical quality of McDonald's food and it being generally what you would expect. Most of the time our food is hot, but we are ALWAYS missing something from our order. We frequently have to wait longer than expected.... Well over 10 to 15 minutes and sometimes longer, and the wait is never made up for even when there is no excuse (for example, 3 cars in line and you are the second). Do not think this will be a quick stop before work because even with leaving earlier you can't count on them. We have pulled out of line due to waits before and after paying because the wait burnt up all the extra time we had before work or other obligations. And the one manager we spoke to could care less and we found him to be extremely disrespectful. My husband wanted to go in there after the way he responded to me. We won't forget the lack of action and demeanor of that so called professional. That being said, Courtney and Penny are awesome at this location. They are friendly, they talk you and have actual customer service skills. I hope you get...

Well Hello Beautiful People in Freeport, I don't understand why Freeport has a McDonald's. I see Freeport has two McDonald's here and I have tried them both and sadly in order to review you have to give an establishment at least one star. I'm so Sorry. The first one I tried the website said they were Open and when I got there they were Closed. So I tried this one....hmmm....sadly they were very busy ( I don't Understand Why) and after waiting 45 minutes for a Drive Thru order that was only missing a medium order of fries and sitting in the car watching several people receiving their food I had to go into the establishment to find my food??? I took many pictures to show when my order was placed and didn't get my order until after 6PM because the manager said she couldn't even find my order. So she remade my order off the receipt I gave her to show I did in fact pay for three orders. I couldn't believe the service and I now understand why most locals in Freeport will tell you Culver's is the Best place to eat in this town. I guess if you go there I hope you have a better experience than myself. Have a great day...
