DO I RECOMMEND THIS SPOT? - Yes I do :)
Drinks I recommend: Summer Melon w/less ice and 25% ($5.50 + $0.80 for the honey boba) Strawberry Cloud w/full sweetness without topping ($6.50) Matcha Latte w/ 25% sweetness and no topping ($6.00) Ube Taro Fresh Milk w/ whole milk ($6.55 + $2.00 for the ube pudding)
currently rose tea lounge in fremont is still in their soft opening stage but even then their drinks are pretty bomb - so i truly would not have known. their spot is super modern in decor and staff are super friendly and easy to approach with questions or concerns!
normally i don't really enjoy my drinks too sweet so usually with fruit teas I'm really picky. if you want something light and refreshing like the summer melon - id recommend ordering 25% sweetness if you decide to add in honey boba because it provides the right amount of sweetness and balances well overall. the consistency of their boba also had a good balance of chewiness.
the strawberry cloud with more of a smoothie/slushy consistency which i really enjoyed bc it had a creamy flavor. and because of that i appreciate the drink as it is without extra topping (and they use fresh fruits from what I've noticed and observed in store! and that's what they pride themselves in on their website and socials). surprisingly even with full sweetness it was really enjoyable and not overbearing with sweetness.
for the matcha latte if you prefer something w/stronger taste of tea flavor. they also use ceremonial grade matcha from kyoto - according to their socials and sites! something i wanna note is that even with the 25% sweetness you can still really enjoy the drink without the bitterness and grainy texture that some other spots might have which is a huge bonus!!!
tip; there's unisex bathroom available lots of parking available various choice in milk/dairy options self-ordering kiosk available and make sure to add in your number so you can be notified once your order is ready! backdrop and swing available for photo...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'd love to meet whoever the founders of this chain are because everything about it is on point including the quality of the drinks, the marketing (I still see people taking a picture on the swing and the sign to post on IG or wherever), and even the people that they hire are great and have been selected well. I've been going to bubble tea shops since 2003 and they all kind of jumble together especially these days when there's one on every corner now but I find myself coming back here exclusively.
I almost always order the non-caf Ube taro fresh milk drink these days since I go here with my daughter and I hope it never changes. There are only a few places in the area that offer Ube taro drinks and out of those few, only this place uses a scoop of the real thing instead of a jug of overly sweet purple syrup that they use in other places. Not only that, but I often get lucky and get freshly made warm boba in my drink and that's just perfect.
I've only ever gone to this Fremont branch but I'm always impressed by this business whenever I drop by, which is around three times a week now. If I ever meet the founders, I'd consider investing in this or any other ideas...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's been a year since I last visit this boba shop. My friend mentioned this place and I decided to visit this place once again.
The atmosphere has quite changed since the menus are no longer displayed on the TVs. Pretty much there were less decorations than before, which makes this place feels a bit empty. Now you have to go to one of the kiosks to see the full menu. I wouldn't really want to hangout in that place and would just order to go until they renovate this place.
They serve us drinks filled in opaque plastic containers. Maybe it's because I ordered milk tea and not other type of drinks. I took my time to look over the drinks online and they seem to serve drinks in containers where we can see liquids. In my opinion, I rather have them serve drinks in non-opaque containers so I can see the liquids inside along with other toppings. I also tried one of their snacks, which is their Korean corn dogs and I actually like it. I like how they drizzle mayo and ketchup on top of it since it gives an aesthetic look...
