I went to apple bees multiple times in my life, and as much as it been around I feel like it's just been getting worse and worse everytime, but this time It was decent.
Cleanliness and Atomopshere: For one, most of the tables were clean, some had no dishes and still had water and crumbs everywhere. The floors were okay, but definitely seemed a little dirty. The building was almost empty. They had a couple of old folks around which definitely enabled the old atmosphere, but it was peaceful. I really liked how they had pictures of different parts of monore which me and my family went to go see, it brought back good memories and was pretty good.
Service: Our waitress seemed to have a southern accent, and I'm from Louisiana so I was able to catch on quickly. She was very sweetie and very helpful about our questions on the menu, the only problem was she kept on butting in every minute she could which was a little annoying. There was also another waitress which I think she was new, but she was doing some restocking and some cleaning and she was so apologetic when she bumped into my family member which I thought was very respectful and a nice change of pace for society.
Food: -food was pretty fresh for the most part. Our appetizers were definitely fresh, but my entree was definitely a little cold. The drinks were honestly bomb..but definitely a sugar rush. I got the tropical strawberry swirl smoothie..something like that. It was red and blue. It was good.

Host actually open the inside door for us as we entered. Very polite, seated us immediately 🙂. Server was at the table very quickly to take drink order🙂. Took maybe 2-3 minutes to get our drink's and place app order. Came back gave her our dinner order. Everything was going great app came out fast. Entree's came out a few minutes later. And that's when it went wrong. First my Wife cut into her steak (ordered Med Well) was barely medium. She kinda dealt with it and ate it anyway. I cut into my steak and it literally Mooed. Poor Cow. Server to it back to replace it. I eat my side's the Spouse finishes her, our Server comes back and tells that's it's going to be a few more minutes, and that's she going to take something off the bill. She ask me if I would just like it packed up to go since we were done with the rest of our meal. I said Yes. She comes back with the doggy bag and the bill. She apologized and said that they took it off the bill. I gave her my card. By this time I just wanted to go home so I can eat the rest of my dinner so I don't really look at receipt sign it and leave. Get outside and look at the receipt and she sure did take something off. We ordered the 2 entree and a app for $25 special. She changed me the $25 + $18.95 for the steak that they didn't cook right in the first. And then comp it back off the bill. Read moreAs a service worker AND someone who works for a Schostak company right across the street i’m familiar with the atmosphere of my workplace and figured that the atmosphere here would be the same…same company right? But unfortunately i’m very disappointed in the customer service with one and only one To-Go worker. Today my sister ordered us a small 16 dollar order for the two of us at 12pm the woman who had answered the phone was rude to my sister…okay whatever everyone has bad days. However, she continues to not come up to my sister’s car while on curbside and goes to all the other cars besides my sisters. Yes it was cold but I do To-Go orders and we are taught to go out to every car no matter if we even have an order just incase. When i got my food both the kids of my sauces were taken off and sauce all up in the containers, my fries were wet, and my chicken wasn’t cooked all the way. Me and my sister do believe in tip culture but however in this case we didn’t tip when i was planning on giving at least a 5 dollar tip on a small order. I love Applebees and their food and pains me to write a bad review, but this is only one problem that i noticed and hope it gets talked over so there’s room for improvement.
