Cottage Inn Pizza Monroe — Restaurant in Frenchtown Charter Township

I ordered 2 pizzas....a deep dish favorite pizza & a round motor city meatball 🍕and a small greek salad 🥗 paid $57.

When I ordered the pizza over the phone, I specifically asked for double sauce and that I would pay whatever the cost for the extra sauce.

I actually made it a point to tell him I like a saucy pizza not a bready one & he reassured me that they would double the sauce at my request for no extra charge.

When I got home and was looking forward to enjoying a pizza with family, the whole family was sadly disappointed 😔.

Not only did I not get the extra saucy pizza that I asked for, but to my dismay there was very little if any sauce on the pizzas and there were little if any mushrooms on them😞. The pizza also tasted cheap with very little toppings.

If I wanted a cheap & bready pizza I would have went to Little Caesars. No thank you. You got me once, but...

I did have a review up that was giving this place 5 stars. Sadly I have to change this because of what has been happening every single time we order. The first few times were GREAT! Now don't get me wrong, the food itself is VERY VERY GOOD! The last two times they have forgotten our food though, we get half of the order and by the time the rest of our food is here it is 30 min after. The food is good - the service.... not so much. When it comes to calling they do absolutely fix it by crediting or something along the lines, it just sucks that the phone call even has to be made. Just have your delivery drivers please be more mindful and check what is supposed to be coming with them on their delivery run.. These little girls were so upset they didn't have what...

If you haven't had pizza here, your missing out. I order pizza & greek salad. Its made to order any way i like it. This place definitely takes care of its customers, thats the kind of service most fast food spots lack these days!! The toppings are plentiful and absolutely delicious!!
