I wanted to try this place for a while. I read about their Quesabirria Tacos so I decided to come. I now have two gages for Mexican places: Carnitas and Quesabirria. If anyone of them is good to great, then everything else should be ok

I ordered the 3 quesabirria tacos. It took 17 minutes for the order to come, even when only two other people were the only ones eating and I did not see any other order prepared to go. I got there just after 3 pm.

The tacos looked good. But when I tried the first, the tortilla was soggy. It did not fall apart, just it being nimble. The meat had some flavor but it was not "flavorful". Different than other places. The consomé had similar flavor. I added the onions and cilantro that came with the order to it to enhance the flavor.

As I tried the second and third taco, the last one was a bit crunchy but on the side of tough. Tortillas seemed to me were home made. Thick and with substance.

All and all OK. The tacos were not hot, repeat, were not spicy hot. That is a good thing for people that like to add the sauce. By the way, I tried the red sauce and it was great. Spicy and with enough flavor to open your taste buds. The green salsa was not any good, at least to me. It had a woodsy flavor. Something I have not tasted before.

I'm a nut shell, an ok meal and a place I would try again, just to give them the benefit...

I must say I went here for the first time today with my fiancé because of a video we saw online from the owners and we’ve been looking forward to try a New Mexican spot that looked very promising. Today we went in and were the only customers but were greeted by one of the nicest employees we could’ve met and he was extremely informative on the menu, different meats available, and how they prepare their made in house tortillas and food! I ordered the pastor, shrimp, and asada tacos and my fiancé got their Barbacoa. All of which were absolutely the best tacos I have had in a very long time and the BEST tacos I’ve had in Fresno. The tacos are HUGE and they really load them up with meat and give you sides of onion and cilantro and big lime wedges. All of the meat was extremely well cooked, seasoned, and tender. And the shrimp tacos, which I normally don’t go for all that much, were INSANE! I definitely recommend the pastor and shrimp and Barbacoa. Absolutely everything was amazing. I will say the only thing I will say may need a little work is just their salsas! They were still tasty but they could use a lil teeny bit of change of recipe to really tie everything together. But other than that, it was absolutely amazing and I will 100% be...

Have to talk about this amazing gem within Fresno. The owner and his son are the nicest people and shows they love what they do and strive making their customers smile. Unlike many places that just throw salt on to cover up the lack of quality and culinary details, the proteins here are well marinated and balanced. Also, love their corn tortillas which I don't come by often. Reminds me a little bit of Yucatán style tortillas where it's more thick and fluffy. Very unique and just goes perfectly with the other ingredients. The inside is quite spacious and functional, however, a little dark. Not sure if that's the vibe they were going for. Parking can be tight as it shares with other stores but I haven't encountered any issues finding parking yet. No shade though. I do hope they stray away from styrofoam for take outs as the heating lamp melted the containers and the plastic bag. The owners replaced did their due diligence to replace it for me but the thought of melted plastics on the food is concerning.

In summary, great family establishments bringing in different culinary skillsets and options to Fresno. They're gonna be my top picks to go to for...

Stopped by Fuego Taqueria & Restaurante for lunch and wow… this place is a straight-up hidden gem. 🔥 From the moment I walked in, the customer service was solid. Adriana was super friendly and recommended the asada mulita — 5 stars, easy. Packed with flavor and meat. But here’s what really surprised me… THE RESTROOM. Yeah, I said it. The restroom was cleaner than clean and smelled like someone just finished folding fresh laundry in there. Most restaurants can’t keep a restroom like that unless their kitchen is spotless too — so that was a huge plus. The food was amazing, but let me warn you… That red salsa bottle? If you’re not ready-ready, it will purify your soul 😂🔥 No joke, that salsa has hands. And to top it off… They serve Pepsi. Automatic win in my book. 🙌 If you’re in town, swing by Fuego Taqueria — great food, super clean spot, and customer service that makes you feel welcome. Highly recommend.
