Unacceptable. I've been to this location a few times only because of convenience and proximity. Every single time I come to this location specifically the one on blackstone and shields, they are always messing up. Whether it's the quality of my food or simply forgetting to put items I ordered in the bag. Today I ordered a deluxe double quarter pounder and it tasted like it had been sitting on the table for 30 minutes then remade to my needs. The buns were "hard"??? The lettuce was soggy as if it hadn't been changed all day, the tomatoes didn't even taste fresh. On top of that I ordered 2 medium fries, a small fry and two baby fries. Every single fry tasted like it had been redipped in the oil to reheat them. They didn't taste fresh at all. This location didn't even follow protocol when it comes to putting two baby fries in the happy meal, instead they replaced them with a small fry. The nuggets I ordered were cold and the side of Mac sauce I ordered wasn't even in the bag yet I was still charged. The only good thing about this visit was the mcflurries. They were mediocre. I think we got unlucky and ended up getting the crumbs of whatever was left of the mix ins. The oreos was just powder and the s'mores was also just powder. On top of all this, about a month ago I came to this location right before it closed at around 12AM. A late shift. The MANAGER she had blonde hair and a manager blue outfit. Her hair was in a ponytail and swaying all over the place. She had a gold ring on almost every finger on both hands very pointy and sharp, she had long acrylic nails and gold bracelets going up her arms, along with huge gold hoop earrings. She would not get off her phone the entire 5 minutes I was waiting there. She was not following protocol at all, out of uniform and it's almost as if she thinks she's entitled due to the fact that she's the manager. She should be setting good examples not bad ones? I think this explains the overall laziness of the whole crew. Whether it's not dropping enough fries or not changing out the lettuce every few hours. It really shows how much this location doesn't care about procedure and it's clear to the public. If it's this visible on the outside it makes you wonder what's going on in the inside of the kitchen. I think it would be a miracle if this place even passes inspection. I know my one review doesn't mean much, but I do really hope this allows someone to talk to the employees to work harder. I've seen better, I've tasted better and I've recieved way better customer service from other locations. For example Chestnut/McKinley keeps your expectations high. Read moreI don't come to this McDonald's very much I go the McDonald's north because this McDonald's on Shields and Blackstone are always very rude. I asked for a refund they turned around and told me they don't give refunds. The McFlurry's that I ordered was not the all the way filled it was literally half of the cup. I told the lady that I want my refund and here are the McFlurries. She turned around because the manager or supervisor yelled out what's wrong with that order what is wrong with her she then replied and told manager that there's not enough ice cream in the cup and I wanted a refund. The manager / supervisor said we don't do refills fill up the ice cream a little bit more and give it back to her. I've never heard of McDonald's never giving a refund and I'm 39 years old I felt very disrespected the way that they were talking to me and addressing this issue it looked like if I was getting ice cream from my toddler. In the past they thrown food at a customer they talk rude to other customers. I would highly recommend nobody ever coming to this restaurant they need to definitely get customer service achieved. Well I was trying to eat my ice cream that they did a crummy job at they gave me a lid that I cannot pull out my spoon from this makes no sense. You could see in the pictures below the white piece of ice cream on the bottom and a little bit of m&M's in the center and when they came back they put the little bit more ice cream on the top and then on the other pictures you can see that I cannot pull out my spoon from the lid. It makes sense why this restaurant I never see it full or having anybody here now the one on knees and Ingram they're always packed but the service is really good and the food they really fall through on the order and the customer service is perfect they're so friendly. Read moreBiscuits and Gravy for BF I go to McDonald's. Regular size is 1 Biscuit split with gravy over it. They put the gravy over the Biscuits when ordered. (It use to be separated. And I don't know if people oder it that way when using drive-thru.) I always order the "Large Biscuit & Gravy Meal" which comes with a Hash Brown and a drink. My drink is usually the Mocha Frappè drink so that is a drink upgrade cost. The amount of gravy on the Biscuits varies, so I always order a side of Gravy. I dine in. I like my Biscuits "swimming" in the gravy. Where I go when it comes to ordering: If paying cash, you have to order at counter with a human - Social contact. Great! In and Out. If you are paying with debit/CC they make you use a kiosk. Here it's hunting for your food. I even had someone help me locate and order. Even saying "Large" I got to table and the Biscuits looked small as if they didn't rise when cooking. Then It turned out it was a regular order...of 1 Biscuit split. I had to check receipt order. She got wrong size. The worker did say she was still learning to use it. And we did have to have someone locate it one the screen. So I had to use the kiosk again to order a single Biscuit. Good thing I ordered a side of gravy. The Biscuit was hot and the gravy on the side was hot so it wasn't a cold meal. It took a long time to do my order and correct the order. "ABC" it.
