Robertito's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Fresno

We have been customers of Robertitos for years. Today we have experienced the worst service and will not be returning here ever for that reason. As my husband spoke the order in the drive through, the gentleman taking it got confused and when husband pulled up to pay, he had the impression it would be just one burrito but as he changed it to 2 burritos in which he made the mistake, he screamed to the man cooking it would be 2 instead of one. Not the problem in this whole ordeal. The gentleman cooking was asked to just divide the cooked egg mixture into 2 burritos therefore making them half the size. As my husband was giving the card to pay the man left the window open and my husband could hear him saying about minimizing orders and sides. My husband requested 6 mini chili containers in which would be 3 per large burrito but the man said that they would be charging for them... that the carrots and jalapenos as well. When we've walked in to eat the same burritos we've never been limited on the chili sauce container or ourselves serving a reasonably amount of jalapenos and carrots. Them wanting to charge for the chili and made out of 1 burritos 2 is absolutely unnaceptable. The way my husband felt of the stinginess and the disrespect for loyal custmers was absolutely out of line. We paid a over $16 for 2 burritos that should have costed 2x$5 I will never be returning here. If this is the new way to run this business, the one on Gettysburg and I dont know if it's happening at the other ones. You've lost a loyal client and many more. I am absolutely disappointed with the actions and words from the representatives...

TLDR: plastic piece in food, they didn't apologize, blamed it on us.

We've been coming to this place for many years now. Tonight my cousin took a bite of the asada fries and pulled out a long piece of plastic. It looked like a piece of plastic wrap or from a silverware packet.

We kindly notified the worker that we found that in the food. She did not apologize and just said it may have come from the avocado or tray. I asked if we can get a new one and she said no. She said come back next time and let management know. I said can we just get a refund then (we don't know the "next time" we'd come back) and she said no.

She said next time check before you eat. I told her it was in her food. She barely had 2 bites and found this. The lady said she would make a small batch for her. I said she barely ate it, the plate is still full. If you're going to do that then can we just get a refund. She said no and took the plate and said she would make a new one.

She came back with a new one and brought the plastic wrap roll with her. She said she checked the cameras and there was nothing in the plate of food and that it was us becuase it came from the plastic silverware. We saw her standing at the counter the whole time, not sure if it was her or someone else who "checked" the cameras.

I said why would we do that? There is no reason for us to. She just said thank you and closed the door. I'm not saying they intentionally put that in there but they should've at least apologized and just offered to make a new one or give us a refund. This was very disappointing. I never post reviews, good or bad, but this one...

This is near where i live, so I've gone here over the years just because of convenience. My kids love their kids' meals(quesadilla and fries or buggets and fries). The fries are crispy, and the main is always good. However, I go for the nachos or tostada(depending on mood). I ordered a tostada last time. The shell was totally soaked and crispy at all. I got the nachos this time. Huge disappointment. There was so much sour cream. It's as if they dumped a tub of sour cream on it. Leaving everything saturated and soggy. The meat has a lot of grissle in it, making a lot of it inedible. I can't finish 1/2 of this. That's just how bad it is. And i really tried. Hubs ordered nachos and felt the meat had no flavor. Both red and green salsas had no flavor them. I slightly disagree as i can't taste the chili on the red. Oh, i just noticed they charge 10 cents per salsa. I def dont remember this last time.

Next time, I'll just have to drive out to another location or another mexican fast food place. Such a...
