Toledito's Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in Fresno

If I could leave zero stars I would! On they're menu it does NOT state bbq sauce on the Louie special which my family member ordered. When my family asked to order something else the waitress stated no cause it's on the menu like that. We got up to re look at the menu and it is NOT stated on the menu smothered in bbq sauce. She couldn't eat the plate because she doesn't like barbeque sauce so that plates cost was $14.49 that is super annoying to be charged that much for something you didn't eat. The waitress then offers to only give the soda free when in my opinion that plate should have been compt not the sodas. I then get up to ask for the tickets cause at this point it's annoying. The waitress messed up by putting all our food on 1 ticket when we asked for 2 different checks. Instead of us making a big deal I told the waitress we'll put some cash there rest on debit just to leave it alone instead of her trying to fix it. She then messes up charging my card 4x at this point I'm getting super annoyed and I asked for my debit back. She said she refunded my card that the charges don't go thru well they did 4x!! I called next day to tell them they're still trying to say it didn't go thru as if I'm a liar so she takes down my name and number to call back so she can go thru they're books. She calls back says I wasn't charged but I could go pick up my money anyway. The amount that I was double charged. I drive all the way over there she apologizes and said try them again. I told her no and told her why and took my cash and left. I should have counted my money cause I stopped at the store after and she shorted me a dollar. I know it's only a dollar but after all that bad experience I shouldn't have been shorted not even one dollar! Never will I go back and I hope everyone reading this considers this... they're food was oily and bbq sauce smothered on a plate without stating it on the menu and them not trying to fix it was unprofessional! I was a server for many years so I'm a very good tipper. My first time ever not leaving a tip. No consideration for they're customers. Salads are also full of water like they don't drain it! Being affiliated with the original Toledo's here in the Fresno area means this place has great food. Just like mom used to make if not better. The location is very convenient as well. Much needed in this area. But unlike the other Toledo locations where the service is a 10 the service here is more like a 7 or 8. Maybe 9 at it's best. Leaving room for improvement. My last thought is the availability of the items on their menu. As good as their food is it seems difficult to get what I order off the menu. Last time for example I wanted the abondigas. They didn't have it. Second time that happened. Today I wanted chicken mole which is a blessing to even be able to get at any restaurant seeing as how many Mexican restaurants rarely offer it. I ordered it today here at Toledito's. Only for my waitress to tell me they didn't have enough for a chicken mole plate which includes beans & rice. She said they only had enough for chicken mole enchilada plates. I accepted the suggestion and took the enchiladas which were great. So great I put her to the test. After dining in I ordered 2 more enchilada plates to go. Just to see how much they had. Yes my wife & I ate them all. Very Delicious. I'm a little perplexed in that I'm almost certain they had enough to throw together the mole plate I originally ordered. In short. We love this place and just like their other locations we will always go back. My only wish is that they serve the items that they offer on their menu. And maybe even extend their hours at this location. Please note that my opinion is only at this location here on Van Ness. My opinion at the other Toledo locations is that they are a perfect 10. Just went and paid 15$ for a plate I didn't eat! First off people should really understand you don't know what someones day is like. I come in hungry at about 11am to grab some food and do some paperwork. Well, first off the waitress is really short with me from the moment I walk in the door. I didn't care I just wanted to eat. When she comes over to take my order again, she's short and trying to walk away as I'm speaking. I had to call her to tell her I didn't want certain toppings because that's how quickly she walked away from me. Mind you there's maybe 2 to 3 people in there (not busy) So I attempted to order to shredded beef enchiladas and she brought me out some shrimp burrito and she said that's what I said I ordered at this point with her attitude.
