Me and my wife went there. It was the most unprofessional place I have ever went to. When we got there the staff sat us down and told us about the buffet. We didn't want to do it but she made it sound like it was cheap and a great deal. Wrong decision. They do that so you can buy the buffet and then they won't serve you. They will rush you out. After 20 minutes of waiting the staff finally came to help us. We order 8 small dishes for our two kids. We wanted them to eat first so that we could eat after they were full. After our kids were done we waited patiently for 30 minutes hoping someone would notice us. We tried flagging down staff but with no luck. Getting up I flagged down a male Asian worker. He ignored us and passed us by. Upset and hungry I started to make a scene. A staff saw me and came ask me if anything was needed. I pointed out that we've been sitting here over 30 minutes with no food. The staff gave me a attitude and said something in Chinese or whatever he was. He didn't come back to give us the menu for another 20 minutes. He went back and started talking in Japanese whatever he was and everyone started laughing. I'm sure they love it cause they kept looking at us and laughing since. Finally hungry and out of patience I started making a scene and a staff came and took our orders. We waited for about 30 minutes and then said enough was enough so we left. I told my wife we're leaving and we're not paying for this. We told the waitress that we did not eat so we will only be paying the kids buffet. She said there was nothing she can do and she apologized. I stated that they were gonna charge us for what for waiting? We didn't even eat! I told her we didn't eat at all and all you can say is sorry pay for all 4 buffets cause your sorry? I told her actually how I felt about the service and she knew she didn't care. I was mad I had to pay for 4 buffets that they didn't even provide. I will be complaining to the bbb about this matter as I feel they robbed us 54 dollars when they should have only charged us for two kids buffet. Not helping us at all about the charged I paid i told myself all my friends and family will no longer support them and we will make this our mission to let everyone else know this place is bad service and bad people most of all disrespecting customers in front of them. Do not go here and they will not serve you then charge you!
Review update: they gave us a full refund...
Read moreAll you can eat sushi is different for every place. There’s a limit on rules here, but I can understand why. A lot of times, I’ve seen people over order food and underestimate how filling sushi can truly be. This place puts those limits on not as a punishment, but as a benefit for the unprepared because sometimes you just come in blind and you feel like you messed up and you paid the consequence. The first thing is that you have a total limit of 5 nigiri for the entirety of three rounds. While this is a small limit, I actually was satisfied with what I received because I was dining alone watching the latest episode of Demon Slayer. The staff was respectful not to disturb me as I was enjoying myself. The menu options showed two different menus - the main menu and the chef’s special menu. On AYCE, we are allowed one chef’s special item, so I chose the King Cobra. It was delicious and I have never had anything like it. For the nigiri, I was able to try unagi, salmon, and yellowtail. I loved the yellowtail. I was then trying out the Titan roll, which was also delicious, but with the description, it was a little more than I bargained for. Normally, a restaurant would make everything that I ordered, but the hostess’ rules were different - they check up to make sure we’re okay to continue to the next one. So, my third order was for a caterpillar roll, but I was so full and I had anxiety thinking, “oh man, I don’t know what I should ask if they’re already making my order” but she said “we haven’t made it yet because we wanted to make sure you were good to continue” and I politely asked for the check and to decline proceeding. The restaurant is very well spaced with the booths. If you wish to dine alone, you can find a nice spot for yourself. This is a small family owned restaurant, owned by a Vietnamese family. If you come...
Read moreTwo words: never again. The good, excellent service from our server. That's the only positive about this place.
Overall I will not ever go here again and spend over $100 on mediocre, compromised sushi that I can get from the supermarket. Also the menu lies, leaving out the most expensive rolls and the chef tries to save money by making only the cheapest rolls first.
Some history that when I used to live in the area that this used to be my favorite haunt. the 4 seasons, climax and the shrimp tempura were amazing. I expected the trio to carry the meal whenever I went for ayce and they usually did.
Flash forward to today and they took them out to apparently save money though they don't say that. That's fine but let customers know. Then another cost cutting measure they did, no shrimp tempura on the mixed or anywhere except the rolls. ignore what both paper and plastic menu say they don't give that to you and force a bunch of cheap veggies and mystery meat on you.
Now the rolls. everything and I mean everything had tons of crab meat, which tasted gross, and the fish itself, sauce or no sauce, tasted bland and meh.
Lastly, if all this wasn't bad enough they charged far more for the ayce vs the old price. 39.99 vs 19.99.
This was by far the worst and most expensive sushi I've ever overpaid for in my life and I did so because of nostalgia from when the times were good.
For me good food can save bad service but good service can never save bad food.
Sorry not sorry that I'm never coming back again even if they fix all the above. You should do the same as I refuse to recommend this place to those who...
