I had been wanting to come here for ages. We finally came here after a bike ride on the island, and it far exceeded expectations. First, we so were warmly greeted and told about their well-sourced beef and Alaska wild caught pollock. We shared a bacon cheeseburger and pollock fish and chips. The burger arrived as a true work of art on a small tray. The sesame bun was so fresh and the perfect temperature. The lettuce, white onions and pickle were fresh and crisp, and the old fashioned burger sauce tied everything together. The beef patty was tender and delicious. The pollock was extra crispy and hot, and the seasoned dipped fries were crisp and delicious. The owner treated us to an amazing strawberry shake, which was especially appreciated on this hot day. We absolutely loved this step back in time as they have preserved so many artifacts from the 1950’s. We will be back on every visit to Friday Harbor. Next time I’m having the burger with bbq sauce, onion ring, bacon and cheese with a chocolate malt!...

The woman up front was super friendly and greeted everyone with a smile. She looked very busy yet was knocking out all the orders and serving without issue.

The food was wonderful and plentiful. My son described his chicken nugget basket with a “oh my gosh it’s like real chicken!” He also said his nuggets were “bussin’!” (That’s a good thing), and “a wonderland of flavor.” No joke, I’ve never heard him speak so highly of chicken nuggets or possibly anything before.

My mexiburger was also outstanding. They didn’t skimp on toppings at all and there were so many jalapeños on there! The picture doesn’t do it justice. It was definitely a messy burger, but I figure that’s how you know it’s good!

The shake was very good as well, although I don’t think I’d spend $7 on that portion again.

Highly recommended! Thanks for the...

We are local to Friday Harbor and today thought we would stop in for some take out. Eat in dining is not an option right now and that is not reflected in my review. My husband and I ordered 2 cheese burgers. He was very specific about what he wanted on his burger, two orders of fries and two soda's. Our order was packaged to go, because no indoor seating. The soda was not very cold so I asked for a cup with ice. I was told that they have no ice. So we took our bag of food and went to the beach to eat. We opened the burgers and the special order was not! They paid no attention to our order and gave us two fully loaded cheese burgers. One of the bags of fries was half empty. It was a very poor $28 cheeseburger lunch. Better options downtown!...

My cousin and I stopped at Vic's as it seemed to be one of the few spots we could just grab something quick to bring back to our cabin. Vic's has been around a long time and changed hands from one family to another. I started asking questions about the history and was able to learn about the signature wall that dates back to 1980s but some are fading so could be older. They put some of the original flooring on the wall behind the Vic family portrait. The current family had to do some upgrades but try to keep as much as they can to keep the history of the place. They replaced the seating but still use the old ones. When you make a stop, learn about the history. :)

This appears to be a family owned business struggling to get by like all of us. The young teenage girl was visibly annoyed I asked for ice. However; later, a woman arrived, appeared to be her mother, we learned they only use bottled water for ice and serving because the age of the building and the extreme building codes of the city and county. They're deserve some grace. My wife and I were the only customers in the restaurant. Waited 20 minutes for our burgers. Decent burger. Fries are extra.
