This shop has Lopez Island Cream, which is fantastic, and why we went. However, the service was disappointing today. There was a nice gal scooping, but Allie at the register was clearly bored and rude. I tipped anyway, and turned to leave when my waffle cone broke in my hand, and my scoop fell onto the floor, right in front of the register. Allie said nothing and went to help the next customer. I had to ask another employee where the napkins were so I could pick up the worst of the mess. I went back to the counter to get another cone, thinking they might offer me a replacement, or at least a discounted cone. No such luck. Allie walked over and acted as if nothing had happened and I was an entirely new customer. Look, I know she's probably in high school, and gets sick of working customer service, and dealing with tourists, but is it too much to ask for a smile and some sympathy, even if it is company policy not to replace dropped cones? Sheesh! I Don' think...
Read moreStopped in for ice cream after dinner while waiting for our ferry. I had the blackberry - it was so creamy and had a very fresh blackberry flavor. I would get it again in a heartbeat.
Also bought the huckleberry gummy bears and huckleberry tea bags. Haven't tried the tea yet. But the gummy bears are... ok... kinda good and kinda weird. The initial flavor is very perfumey, tastes a little like soap. But as you chew the flavor softens to more of the berry flavor. Not sure they are worth the $9 we paid...

The boba is terrific (they always make it just the way I ask for it), and there are a ton of ice cream flavors. I can also always find a souvenir here that's a hit with nieces and nephews.
