Visited twice for this location for the same dinner time (09:00 pm). This is runnig with under staffed. Running out of staff doesn't impact the business but if they are unable to provide a seat or atleast just a welcome is making us unhappy.
4 adults and 4 kids reached at 9:00 pm. by the time we are at the reception, only 2 customers were having their dinner. Two staffs were there to respond the customer request. They saw us but didn't respond ask us take a seat. The tempatrature was down on that day.
We ordered the food which were listed in the photo. There is no issue with the food they provided. but i find the spoons are used and they didn't washed it properly. Next, We asked hot water, they supplied with dust. This is also shown on the photo. The person who was attending our request already mentioned that he is new and pre apologize if he does any mistakes. I accept that.
We repeat one order for a omlette, the first order was awesome and we expected the same but the repeated order was a failure, they messed up all the options. We clearly mentioned the bill to repeat the same.
Note: by the time when were having dinner there are 2 more customer's and they were welcomed and alloted seats immediately. It is unfair.
Improvements required:
Management has to increase their staff count by adding one more staff. It's a request
Please verify the plates / spoons are well cleanned
You can take the order a bit late not an issue. but please ask the customer to be seated.
Even they are making mistakes, I have provided the tips. I will come back one more time to see for improvements.
I will definitely revert back the ratings if i am happy with...
Read moreJust to clarify, I give my reviews to the best of ability with truthfulness, always. I usually try to include pictures to confirm what I experienced. First of all, the server or waiter, looked like he was ready to go home and did not introduce himself. I had to ask him for his name and I smiled. I get it, I’ve been a server before and I understand. However, he did not write down anything. We had to send back items or ask for items (water, food, napkins) that were forgotten, yes more than once, so items.
Next, never have I ever received burnt bacon for “crispy” or “crunchy” or “well cooked” bacon. Secondly, my sister did not want to complain. She was too hungry because we waited so long. She ordered the cheesecake pancakes and she had to eat half of them just to find any of the flavor or filling. They looked like just regular pancakes to me.
I asked for no ice in the water, got a glass full anyway with something floating in it. Perhaps, because the young man was holding the glass by the rim. Yes, the rim, not by the side or bottom, but his hand was on top like we were personal. Ugh! Lastly, my 5 year old nephew was supposed to have the Jr. Cupcake Pancake combo. He just looked at them and ate his bacon because it was so unappealing and runny.
I was told iHop was not the same quality as years ago and that visit confirmed it because the location was nice. On the plus side, the restroom was clean. The parking lot was not crowded. Unfortunately, my other nephew made a mess, but I tried cleaning it up because he just turned one. I still left a decent tip anyway. Maybe the daytime...
Read moreIHOP is our go to restaurant for weekend or holiday breakfast, we always have great experiences, some of the staff even know us by name. But TODAY the hostess controlling the seating chart was the rudest, meanest person ever to work in the service business, she should get another job!!!! As we all know, you need to give your name upon arrival, normal, everyone waits their turn, normal. But when you see a group being seated that arrived after you got there of course you get a little upset, but I would have loved to hear an apology from this ugly, rude woman " I'm so sorry your table is ready as well", not the response I got " they were here first", when I told her, no they were not, I saw them get here a lot later than I did, again I received, " no they were in their car", when I asked to speak to the Manager her response was " I don't care, talk to the manager", really? That is the response I get? That is the way you respect a paying customer? And if she knew she has done something wrong, instead of apologizing, she goes and talks to all the wait staff to put them up to speed on the problem, everyone was staring in our direction, she talked to everyone around us!! How simple an apology would have been. And yes, the manager came to speak to up, said he would get to the bottom of this, but he never came back out EVER!!!! I'm not going back to this IHOP, gues the one on Dallas Tollway/Main St. will be getting my business! So sad, such...
