5 Stars â Pure Strawberry Yogurt Bliss!
If youâre a fan of refreshing desserts, you have to try the yogurt berry bingsoo from Sul & Bean. From the first bite, I knew I found a new favorite. The shaved ice is incredibly light and fluffyâalmost like snowflakes that melt the moment they touch your tongue. Itâs not overly sweet, which I really appreciated, because it lets the flavors of the yogurt and strawberries shine.
The fresh strawberries are perfectly ripe and generously layered throughout the dessert. Theyâre not just on top for decorationâtheyâre mixed in with the ice and yogurt to make sure you get fruit in almost every spoonful. The yogurt adds the perfect tangy contrast to the sweetness of the strawberries, and the drizzle of condensed milk ties everything together in the most delicious way.
One thing I loved was how balanced the whole dessert was. A lot of bingsoos can be overwhelming with too much syrup or toppings, but this one is just right. Itâs also hugeâdefinitely big enough to share with a friend (or keep all to yourself if youâre feeling indulgent).
The presentation was beautiful too. It looked almost too pretty to eat⌠almost.
Sul & Bean really nailed it with this one. Whether youâre a bingsoo lover or trying it for the first time, this flavor is a must. Iâll 100% be coming back for this again. Itâs the perfect treat to cool off with and satisfy your...
Read morebestie and i come weekly to try every flavor. taro and earl grey are the best so far, they are incredible. matcha and black sesame were disappointing experiences. chocolate and mango (no picture) were okay. watermelon and strawberry were good, but nothing can beat taro or earl grey. below is our general tier list that we update each time.
taro đâ earl grey (almost interchangeable with taro) - the layers are incredible strawberry - meets expectations and is light and good throughout watermelon - seasonal flavor, little sweet but very satisfying mango - nothing special but not awful coffee - close second to mango but overall unimpressive/underwhelming, second after mango because of the granola (??) chocolate - very cheap, nesquik tasting matcha - adding some condensed milk helped slightly, but it's too much straight matcha powder. not subtle at all. black sesame - great concept, poor execution and very disappointing in terms of flavor and texture....
Read moreSorry, but this was horrible Bingsu. We ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake. Weâve had Bingsu all over Asia and have it multiple times a month from a few different Korean spots and After You (a Thai dessert shop in Thailand) when at our house in Bangkok. We really enjoy the fluffiness and milky flavor of this dessert. Think of fluffy milk snow. Unfortunately, this Bingsu wasnât either. The snow itself wasnât fluffy and soft, it was icy and chunky. It also tasted like they used non fat milk or white colored water, because it had the flavor of water, zero taste. The strawberries were tart, even the condensed milk couldnât hide it. The chunks of cheesecake werenât horrible, but really nothing to write home about. We didnât finish it, even though my wife tried, because when you pay $16 for a single Bingsu, you really donât like wasting the money. Wouldnât go back or recommend. Sorry for the bad review, but you should be ashamed to serve something this poor...
