I ordered four pizzas for delivery through their answering service. I could not understand the lady at all, and she could not understand me. I repeated my order about six times, and she just could not get it right. Then, after we finally got through that, she asked me what day and time I wanted the order, I told her Saturday at 1:00 p.m. she said they could not deliver at that time because that slot is already taken and that she can schedule delivery at 5:00 p.m. I told her that would not work because it was for a birthday and I needed it at 1:00 and she said they could not deliver. I have never been told no when ordering pizza for delivery. So I told her I will take it at 5:00 p.m. just so we can end the call and she could submit my order. I decided to call the store directly to see if they received my order and to see if they can change the delivery from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. I explained to them my whole situation with this lady over the phone, they looked up their orders and said she never even submitted it and there was no order for me. They asked if I got a order number and I said no because she never gave that to me. So I reordered everything all over again with someone directly at the store and they scheduled it for 1:00 like I originally requested, and everything was fine after that. Maybe you should not call the answering service to order pizza. Just call the store directly. When I called Domino's, it said press one to order pizza, and I did, and I did not know it was going to a third party....

Shortly before 5 pm tonight, I ordered delivery from Domino’s in Fruita. Because they have a minimum order for delivery, I had to order two things when I really only wanted a pizza. My total was $13.98. I actually paid $23.91 - Meal, plus delivery fees totalling $6.27, plus tax and tip. Ironically, I used Domino’s delivery, not Doordash or Uber.
They have a tracker where you can see where your order is in the process. First, my order spent nearly as much time in the “delivery” phase as the “baking” phase. When I finally got my pizza it was luke-warm at best. It was not hot or fresh and definitely NOT delicious.
They clearly don’t care about quality and attention to detail. The pizza looked like a 3rd grader cut it, one side’s edge was charred and there was a miscellaneous piece of black olive cooked onto it. And even though it appears that they then sprinkle some form of Italian seasoning all over it AFTER cooking, the flavor was just bland. What’s more, the second item I was forced into ordering was the cinnamon twisty things. They were absolutely doused in cinnamon and inedible without wiping some of it off. What a dissatisfying meal. And what a waste of my hard earned money. Thoroughly...
Read morePizza is as good as any Domino's at the least. I only give a star though as they will not deliver to a house in Fruita City Limits 1.8 miles from their store. That's the whole purpose of having a Domino's anyway isn't it? Not an apartment, a bar, a crime ridden part of town, or any other reason an advertised deliver service would decline to deliver, just won't deliver in the area of Salt Wash Park part of town and that is truly baffling. NOTE LATER EDIT BELOW! I want to update this, I can now get deliveries! Do not ask me what/how this is, I just know when first tried them 3 yrs back I was told I couldn't get delivery even after objecting that I was 200-300yrds east roughly of the Saltwash Park. BUT, I do get some messy pizzas on busy nights so you are...
