We dined at the Fullerton location on 1/25, and we had an issue with the staff. First, they did not ask us what sauce we wanted. Assuming we wanted the original sauce. Secondly, we tried to exchange the sauce for ranch. Their staff mentioned it was against policy to exchange it since we had already touched the sauce (they all were unopened and still on our tray). We ended up spending $1+ on a small cup of ranch and were stuck with 3 sauces none of us wanted. The next order number was called which was also ours and my girlfriend went up to get it and this time asked to exchange the house sauce for ranch then she asked the employee if she could give back one of the new sauces in exchange for a refund for the one we had purchased as she (rightfully) felt that it was not fair for us to pay for the sauce we wanted and forced to take the sauce we did not ask for and did not plan to use. Why automatically give us sauce we did not ask for and not ask us which sauce we would like?
My girlfriend then was given the option to not get a refund and just leave it at that or speak to a supervisor which she did. She spoke to her and after expressing that had we been given the opportunity to choose our sauce we would not have had any issues the supervisor allowed the employee to refund us for the extra sauce. During the refund the employee replied to someone on her headset with something along the lines of“they must be broke” then proceeded to laugh obnoxiously as she handed the money over to my girlfriend and then continued whispering and laughing into her headset as she wiped the tables next to where our party was sitting. I find this behavior very unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. We did not come to this establishment to be insulted and shamed for wanting to receive the items wanted, not the ones forced upon us. On top of all this we tipped after we paid before this incident, which definitely added to the disrespect when we were called "broke". We understand ranting with your coworkers after a long day of work but, doing it in front of customers while laughing excessively to incite a reaction is completely unprofessional, and led us to leave this complaint.
The food was great and we would have loved to return one day! However we don’t plan to anytime soon, given the...
Read moreI'm so irritated that I'm literally writing this review while still sitting in the restaurant. I had high hopes because I'm a hot chicken fan and decided to try a new place since I'm in the area. I ordered for my spouse and I and before we could walk away from the counter a young woman walks from the drive thru register and tells our cashier she accidentally deleted one of the combos from our order and it needed to be refunded and recharged. No greeting no apology she just proceeds to bulldoze the soft spoken male cashier and refund one of the items. Definitely left a nasty taste in my mouth. As someone who not only owns a catering business but has also worked in fast food the customer service was lacking to say the least. The customers before us were called for their order and they proceed to the counter to grab their trays and go sit. They realize that they have my order and offer to hand it to me. THANKS BUT NO THANKS! I walked to another female cashier who was expediting and advised that it'll need to be redone because I mean we are still in the grips of Covid and Monkeypox and that she should be careful with giving orders (food costs are no joke for owner/operators ). She had a complete attitude and said to me "I didn't give it to them they just grabbed it!"... Umm they were called to the counter for 2 orders which were haphazardlydumped on the counter! The customer doesn't work here, you do. It's really sad that a place with good food lost a potential repeat customer due to atrocious customer service. I don't spend my hard earned money where I'm treated...
Read moreNot sure if I should blame staff but young guy with blonde curls is ridiculously RUDE! Being our FIRST time we didn't know what to get but were excited. We were promptly welcomed and proceeded our order but got a little hesitant when deciding on our sides, then comes a voice over the speaker say "Do you want to take this one?" Referring to his co worker to take over, No biggie if he's not patient with customers, I guess he can get a jumpstart on cooking those fries. Another worker takes over and finishes our order.
Here's the juice, the blonde curly haired guy at the window is curt with us the whole time and allows the window to slam shut in the middle of me asking a question. So we wait till we can signal for his attention at the service window, he then glances over twice, sees me waving and does nothing, so we wait some more. When he does decide to help us we asked a harmless question "do you guys have BBQ sauce?"... for my fries obviously, the guy chuckles first and replies with a staunch "no" and tucks away back behind his window of refuge.
Not to be a stickler or anything but his attitude, attention to detail, and customer service skills were way beyond subpar. There was 1 car behind us and no one being serviced inside the restaurant, so I don't understand why the need for this type of service/behavior, and it's because of this why I won't be returning, good...
