Subway — Restaurant in Gadsden

Subway Sandwich Shop is usually excellent. The food is fresh and the quality is top notch, except for this visit. The sandwich maker/cashier was miserable. He clearly didn't want to be there. He barely spoke above a whisper and doesn't know how to make a BMT sub. The instructions are right in front of him for each product. After watching him place the sliced ham on the bun, I could tell this was his first rodeo. Told him he was doing it wrong. I also informed him, I had been going to Subway Shops for over 42 years and know how to make their sandwiches. I left disgusted and went to a shop across town, where they know what they are doing. I went back to the first shop a few days later and had a talk with the manager who was also working the counter. I relayed my experience to him, so that he could address the issue with the employee. He also offered me a replacement order, which I assured him was appreciated, but unnecessary. This shop is located in the local Walmart and generally has great sandwiches and service. This place sucks they didn't even do my order. Unprofessional they We're supposed to do my order and they ended up doing somebody else's behind me. Will not come back.... I hate this place will never come back..... Didn't even listen to the fact that I'm allergic to something..... The manager Amanda was the one that didn't care about my Allergie she Just wanted to argue.. with Me and my mom she was Flat out hateful and rude... The other lady there was trying to help me out get what I needed but Amanda. Was given hateful looks to her coworker and me and my mom..... This is Unprofessional I'm assuming Amanda was the manager and she Just made it where I will never go back to that one...

We order from our office every month from this Subway for our meetings by fax. So everything is checked off of what we want. How simple is that? Every sandwich ordered is ALWAYS never correctly prepared. I ordered wheat bread, well I got soggy white bread. Never any guacamole, or anything but two pieces of meat and lettuce. One employee ordered tuna she got ham. What's wrong with these employees? They are not watched over good enough so they don't care. I wish we'd never ordered from this place to start with. I can go to other subways and there's never a problem. Oh wait, it's because they care as I'm standing there. It's their job to do it...
