I'm going to walk you through what to expect during peak hours and the busiest of drive thrus. Please keep in mind this is only the experience when they're at peak volume. During slow or regular times, your drive thru experience will be what you've come to expect from most restaurants.
As I believe most already know, this location is a well oiled machine, with every cog working precisely with each other the way its intended, with never so much as a hitch in its operation. The amount of vehicles they can accommodate in their drive thru at one time has to be upwards of 20, easily. You might approach the drive thru with a feeling of dismay, seeing it wrapped right into the parking lot, but fear not! For as soon as you cross the white line, that is oh so far from the menu board, you will be greeted with a smiling face, one who has a tablet at the ready for your order, and a menu as well for reference for those who actually don't know what they want. After taking your order (and your name for order accuracy), you will then pay at the menu board, where there is a register and cashier ready to take any form of payment (they do not accept arms and legs, because this is an affordable meal!) The wait you will experience is due to the sheer amount of people ordering, and often we as customers find that we're the ones slowing down the process! I know for a fact though, that if any other drive-thru restaurant was experiencing the same volume of orders, the wait would be an hour, easily. I say that with conviction, because I know it to be true in my heart of hearts. At last, as you approach the pick-up window, you will be greeted with yet another smiling face, also outside of the building! This person double checks your name and order, quickly handing you your food, eliminating the need to stretch to reach your prized chicken. The food is definitely worth the small wait! Chick-fil-a has never failed to impress, and now they are leading the industry and setting the bar high for others. They've rethought the entire drive thru process and experience, making it the most quick and precise service they can offer. If there's a way to save time- they imploy it. Hats off to these hardworking heroes, especially the ones working tirelessly outside of the building, in all kinds of weather, just so we get our nuggets in a timely fashion. And thank you reader, for bearing with me through this lengthy review! So next time you see an insanely long line, do not be deterred, for you will be driving away with the best fast food has to offer before you can say "eat...
Read moreWent through the drive-thru a while back for lunch. The place was packed as usual with hardly any room to move around with a vehicle. We drove around the outside driveway to circle the building to finally get into the drive-thru line. When we circled the building and finally reached the speaker to get our order taken which literally took almost 30 minutes, noone would take our order. We sat for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us. Keep in mind it was so busy and the cars were literally lined around the building and backed up into the neighboring parking lot. So, we finally pulled around to the window to see what was going on. When we finally reached the window after another 10 minutes, a manager came to the window and told us he refused to take our order because we had turned our trailer around in his parking lot and cut off people already in line. He was trying to punish us for something someone told him. We never turned around in the parking lot, there is no way to turn around inside the parking lot especially with a trailer. We were shocked and dismayed especially spending almost a literal hour circling the building in line just to be treated with such disrespect. We are military veterans and understand the importance of being honest and giving respect. The other thought that came to mind is how this manager tried to punish us by waiting in line, we can't image how much business Chick-fil-A lost that afternoon by pulling such an unprofessional stunt to try to proove a point. Very disappointing especially after treating 2 veterans that did absolutely nothing wrong in the...
Read moreMy son ordered water with lemons. When we got to window they were out of lemons and offered him a lemonade for. 40 cents. He had ordered a meal but they said lemonade was extra, meaning the 40 cents. He felt he shouldn't have to pay as they were out of lemons and he paid for a meal with a drink. But he gave them the money anyway. The guy handed him his change and they had charged him 3.60 for the lemonade??? Confused my son said wait a minute. Take it back then and give me my money back. The guy tried paying him back his money in a bunch of change? My son told him keep that and give him back his original bill he paid with. The kid finally did but my thought is... why charge for one, when your out of an item and the guest is clearly NOT trying to take advantage of you by ordering water? Then tell him 40 cents and charge 3 dollars more. To then take it back and act like we did something wrong as is he didn't lie about the price. I'm in customer service and to lose 1 guest over 40 cents or even 3 dollars is absurd and to take the drink back.. THAT is unheard of. I can only think that they resold that drink that meant SOO much to them for it have gotten this far. Which is against all food service standards. It was in our possession, there is nothing you CAN do with it except throw it away. So you lost a guest, and more now over 40 cents that HOPEFULLY got thrown away. So to the kid that said he was part of management, You threw a guest away. Each word of mouth tells 10 friends which tell 10 more. Will not be going back to that...
