I had the WORST experience at this Moe’s on Newberry and 77th on 7/23/22 around 8:30 PM. There were only two employees working and one of them was extremely rude. I changed my mind about the chicken I was getting because what he gave me looked old and burnt. He then slams the quesadilla down and tells me I’ll have to wait for fresh chicken. I oblige and he proceeds to tell me to remove myself from the line and to go sit down until he’s ready for me. I say ok. He asked what kind of chicken I wanted and I said dark, but he said he couldn’t hear me so I restated it twice. His colleague looked at me and said sorry, but didn’t intervene. I proceed to wait at a table and I hear him speaking in Spanish to a customer about me. Being fluent in Spanish, I interject and tell him how disrespectful his behavior has been and that no customer should have to accept this. I asked for his name and he refused to provide it- nor was he wearing a name tag. I left and went to the Moes down the street and had the most pleasant experience. Interestingly, there was a man behind me in line and he too left because of the level of disrespect he witnessed. So, it’s not the company, it’s the individuals that make the experience. Shame on...

She walked up to the counter and asked about our order to which the employee responded “yeah we got it”. She then said she had been waiting and it’s passed the pickup time so he said he would make it right away. She stood there and watched him read the order for a bit but he wasn’t making any progress. My fiancée then offered to tell him what was on her burrito. And of course they were out of sour cream. After the order was made another employee took it over to the register. My fiancée tried to explain to him multiple times that it was an online order and she had already paid. The employee couldn’t hear her and kept asking “huh?”. And why couldn’t he hear her trying to explain she had paid? HE WAS WEARING OVER-THE-EAR HEADPHONES AND LISTENING TO MUSIC. And he wouldn’t take them off. The website (postmates.com) was confusing on the fact of an add on for the order, i thought that for $3.49 each i would receive 2 cups of queso for my chips on the side. When i returned to the location to ask why i did not receive my queso, i was told i had ordered it incorrectly and it was added to the quesadillas. Keep in mind i just dropped $30 plus on 2 quesadillas with chips. Instead of the manager making an impression and fixing the issue, they offered to sell me queso for extra! The saddest part of this is they charge the same for a side cup of queso, or to add a dribble to a quesadilla! Makes no sense and is price gouge if i ever seen one! Couldnt even eat my food cause of how overwhelming the cheese/queso was.
