Ordered a sandwich and chips to go. When we got to the lake we opened the bag and discovered there were no chips. Disappointed since the small bag of chips cost $1.99.

Would not be worth the time to go back but as luck would have it our travels to our next stop took us right past this restaurant. So I stopped in to let them know. Just like the first time we stopped, there was no one at the register. I could hear someone on the phone in the kitchen and patiently waited. The guy behind me was not as patient and stuck his head in the kitchen. An employee came out and I let him know. He attempted to hand me a bag of chips but I told him, that since we had already consumed the delicious sandwich, the overpriced, small bag of chips were no longer necessary. That's when I got the "deer in headlights" look as he had no idea of how to refund us the money.

I thanked him for his time and left. Lesson learned.

As I do not tip for service if I have to stand while ordering food, I do wonder if my missing chips were retribution for not tipping. Will never know.

I would suggest checking your order before you leave as, one way or the other, the employees cannot handle the very complex "chips and sandwich" in a bag order.

Looks like I can't respond to the "owner" comment on "working out the chips" :-( To be clear, I don't want your damn chips. They would have been good, I guess, with the sandwich. They are no longer relevant after the fact. The point I was trying to make is that your staff should be trained, or intelligent enough to fulfill and order consisting of two items. My comments are not intended to acquire missing chips, just to warn others to check their to-go order BEFORE they leave, that is, unless they simply want to travel back for an overpriced small...

I have been eating at Schlotzsky's since I was a little girl living in Texas. We always stop when we travel to north Georgia to eat at one because they don't have them in south Georgia. On our way to a remote cabin in Suches, we stopped at this Schlotzsky's. We got three meals with sandwiches. The first time they brought my order they gave me a medium sandwich. My husband took it back up there, pointed out their mistake, and the lady from the back came out to explain that she would make me another sandwich for the difference they didn't charge me for the giant. She brings me my second sandwich. I'm about three bites in when I realize they hadn't put black olives on either of my sandwiches. I take it back up their and show them that both of my sandwiches don't have black olives, which is a signature item on an original cheese sandwich. The lady from the back comes out with my remade third sandwich and proceeds to tell us that she is distracted because one of her workers didn't show up and she is worried. I take my third sandwich and the rest of my other sandwich with me and we drive to our destination about an hour away. After we get settled, I open my final sandwich to take a bite and the lady made my daughter's turkey sandwich with nothing that was supposed to come on my sandwich. I ended up paying about $55 for three meals and NEVER got a correct sandwich after three attempts. What a waste of money! How does the same woman get my order wrong THREE...

Came in for the first time ever. Placed an order and because we did not say meals cash lady at the register got upset. I had to re-give her our order and be specific about the fact that we wanted meals. When we received our order we sat down and I realized that what I ordered was not what I received. So I went back to the window where you receive the orders and I informed them that my order was incorrect. The lady at the register went to the back to tell them that she placed the order that she received which was for a cheese original. I specifically said grilled cheese. The two people that were waiting with me for their orders both agreed I was in fact correct in how I stated it and that I had said grilled cheese not cheese original. When I took a look at the pricing I realize that I got charge for a cheese original which was way more than a grilled cheese meal. And when my husband went up to the register to tell them that they had overcharged us. Instead of refunding us they stated that they could not give us a refund because the meal was not for a child because it was off of the kids menu . Nothing was up-charged due to it going to an adult. It was the same exact meal that the kids meal entailed. They were rude, condescending, and disrespectful. You will not find me eating at this location ever again! Clearly they needed the 4 dollars more than we did. $70 for 4 people…should have gone elsewhere...

This Schlotzsky’s is one of the poorest I have been to. I used to work at 2 separate locations and am a big fan of the food. There are no locations anywhere near where I live, so we stop whenever we travel and find one. This location had a filthy atmosphere, poor service, high prices, skimpy portions, and minimal options. There was a sign advertising a chicken bacon smoke cheesy, and when we ordered it, the lady told us they “don’t have it” and then said they could make it but would have to charge is for a beef bacon smoke cheesy and uncharge $2 to switch the meet to chicken. The potato soup has always been my favorite soup, but was very disappointing here. Very watery and flavorless.

Simply said: very, very good sandwich’s. Through dozens of orders I have never been disappointed. This is NOT fast food! Sit down and talk because it’s gonna take minimum 15 minutes to make your food. Worth the wait. Gave four Stars not 5 due to price and because sometimes the wait is a tad longer than a reasonable person would expect to wait. Week days this location has extreme high volume during lunch due to its proximity to the county court house located across the street. Be aware of these facts before you arrive on a weekday lunch with the delusion you were gonna grab a turkey sandwich on rye and receive that order in a timely fashion.

Kinda dismal experience. We went to have an after dinner meal and the cashier seemed like she truly hated her job . Her coworker whom I am assuming was the manager was much more helpful. She took care of us and brought our order out. The sandwiches were okay. I'm a northerner who has had a lot of Schlotzsky's in the past and it was not on par. The eating area seemed a little tired and they even had keyed locks on their bathrooms. Not very customer friendly.
