Absolutely incredible vibe here! Low lighting, chill, and fun!! It feels more sophisticated than some other bars on the island and stands out having a more elevated feel! Every bartender was so nice! It is a must to come here if you are looking for a great evening out! Seating inside can fill up quickly, but there is an expansive outdoor patio that in the evenings has twinkle lights going. It is a great place to relax, have a drink, and catch up with friends! The peaceful patio is my favorite place to sit here. Lastly, DTO’s manager is amazing!! I have a fairly common last name, and my tab here got switched up with another lady’s tab who has my last name. My credit card got charged with her tab which was almost four times great than what my tab was supposed to be. The manager immediately reversed the charge when I called with the mix up! I was highly impressed, and it just further encouraged me to frequent coming here! DTO is an...

This was the best find in Galveston in my humble opinion. In seven days we visited on four occasions (once going twice in a day)! Don't judge! DTO has the best drinks I've ever encountered. Not that I drink often at bars (as it's quite cost prohibitive), but DTO's prices are even extremely reasonable. Happy Hour drinks are $6 folks! SIX DOLLARS! We are talking world class craft cocktails here. I had several items on the menu, but kept coming back to the Old Fashioned. My wife LOVED the El Diablo. I ended up having a couple of those as well. Great blend of fruit, semi-sweet and a bit of heat. Chef's kiss! Brad is THE MAN. He may be some sort of local legend at this point. If not, he should be. If you don't go anywhere else in Galveston and you don't mind imbibing on occasion (or frequently for that matter), just go here. Honestly, I felt bad for anyone who walked in here and decided not to stay and try something. I literally would've...

Went to DTO and enjoyed the atmosphere, but the experience with some of the staff left quite a bit of room for improvement. I patiently and kindly asked for a drink 3 times. After the first time placing my order I waited for maybe 20 minutes before ordering the same drink again, thinking that the gentleman forgot about my order. After the second time ordering, I asked him about my drink - this is where things took a turn South, he replied rudely and with sass. I offered to take a beer instead of the cocktail that I had requested and he fired back "Well dude, what do you want," and I asked for the same mixed drink again. After this 3rd time ordering, I waited 10 or so minutes and decided to head to another bartender who promptly made my drink.

The petty behavior of this bartender guarantees that I will not return...

We took a spontaneous trip to Galveston and wanted to go for drinks. We picked this spot because it was rated high. If you come to Galveston, I highly recommend coming here. The bartenders are extremely polite, attentive and knowledgeable. As soon as we sat down, they provided us with glasses of water as we looked over the menu. We came on a Saturday. There was only 3 bartenders but they worked fast. They put a lot of detail into their drinks too. Brad attended to us and he was just the best. He recommended some great drinks and even made us a special drink that he was experimenting with. Will be coming back next time I visit Galveston!

Super cute bar! The bar menu is fantastic, there are so many options and they are all amazing. The espresso martini was great. This is the Zombie. It’s a sweet/sour drink that comes on fire! After about 15 seconds the fire can be put out and stirred into the drink. But there were so many different options and they really weren’t too expensive at all, the drinks were anywhere from $8-$22, most of them being $10-$12. It’s a great place to wait If you are waiting to get a seat in pineapple parlor, but a great bar in general just to hang out at. Highly recommend!!
