We are from out of town. Cute place. Let me just say that my experiences with teahouses in other parts of the country, they have a lot more decaf tea selection as being so close to another coffee establishment, I would have thought tea would be more of a focus here so that threw me off a bit. the people there only offered four options none of which were a creamy option like, peach, vanilla, chocolate, ect. I attempted a fruity with cream and the cream curdled, they very sweetly informed me so i switched drinks to a decaf butterbeer flavor but it (I am extremely caffiene sensitive) was too caffinatedand i started to feel sick drinking it so I gave it to my husband. I then ordered a hot chocolate and i am glad i did, even though they told me their hot chocolate was from a powder, it was VERY tasty. ( I often don't find that from powdered hot chocolate) It was a pleasant surprise. There were cute vintage components to the place that we enjoyed. The folks behind the counter were very nice, however, after I posted this review, the owner argued that I was wrong about how many decaf teas she offered. I apprecieate that she wanted a positive review and I am sorry that my full 5 stars was not enough for her because it did lead me to get on here and be fully candid about my experience. So sorry if this...
Read moreThere are some places on the island I have visited with my family that make us feel SO unwelcome. We live on the island and it’s hard to get out with a six person family, let alone know where to go.
I always feel SO welcome here even with our perceived chaos of a large family. They always accommodate us, go out of their way to fulfill our needs and have a wonderful space for kids to run around in the backyard as needed.
And the people working there are so friendly never make me feel like I shouldn’t enjoy myself out as a mom of four. I go here every chance I get, with kids, for a solitude outing or a girls gathering, it’s the perfect spot.
Please try my favs when you are there:
the Charcoal Rose
Lavender Moonlight Soda with Crystal Boba
And my kids LOVE their slushies, the melon one in particular reminds them of Minecraft creepers so how can you...
Read moreI adore this cute little tea shop! My go to drink is their milk tea made with coconut milk. It pairs well with the brown sugar boba. My daughter loves the strawberry matcha. And, if you’re a coffee drinker there are so many different flavors to choose from. It’s a cool place to hangout with friends or on a solo date. There are plenty of tables to sit at and get some work or reading done. I’ve also seen groups of people having meetings while lounging on the couch. The outdoor area has a few tables if you enjoy being outside. During the summer the heat can be unbearable but if you enjoy being outside their patio area is covered. The girls at the counter are always friendly and helpful. When there’s so much to choose from, it’s nice to know you aren’t going...
