Gizmo Bar — Restaurant in Galveston

This was a great place my granddaughter and I were on a little excursion, we decided to ride to Galveston for the day and we went to a couple bars and this place was just a small little bar and the atmosphere was very good the bartender was extremely nice and the people that were in there were great to it was early do it wasn’t very crowded but it was perfect. We r grieving over some passing of close family members so we just wanted to sit and enjoy ourselves and that we did. We even left and came right back to it because we had a little car problem so we needed to sit awhile in a cool place to get our heads together to get home and we went back and played some music and just sat and enjoyed. Oh that place was awesome! We were tourists in Galveston beach and we found the local bar! As a smoker to walk into a bar that has ashtrays with a pure delight! I have no idea what it cost because I did not pay attention but I know whatever I paid it was worth it for the people and the atmosphere and all the fun that we had! From the waitress who served us to every local who chatted with us, they were wonderful! Cheers Gizmo hope to see you again! And I do apologize I just couldn't be bothered to take photos. It's definitely a cool and friendly bar. The staff is far better than most I've visited. They are tentative and professional. I never feel out of place. Carmen the manager is wonderful and always greet my partner and I with a smile 😁 Missy, Wil and other staff members I don't know by their names yet are awesome and they remembers what you like. I rate it a 4.5 moving towards a 5. Thanks Gizmos for being the place to be ourselves and a place to have a good ole time. Oh and I mustn't forget the customers are the bomb to party and socialize with. I found a new home bar....
