Kempner Park — Attraction in Galveston

Kempner Park has always been a fun park to go to, walk around, picnic or spend the day with family and friends. It is a dog park but everyone does a great job of cleaning up after their pets and picking up after themselves. My wife and I would go here every time we visited, until hurricane Ike, I know the park suffered bad damage. I haven't been back since 2010. Such a beautiful place, I tried to get back two weeks ago, but everyone else had a different agenda . I hope it's all better, now. I'd give it five stars, but I don't want it to catch on with the tourists....
