Squeeze — Restaurant in Galveston

I have to give this place a 3 stars. Me and my husband decided to go to the squeeze bar we normally go to the spot, but this certain day, Sunday the 15th of October, we wanted a good margarita. The waitress greeted us very fast we were still looking over the menu at that moment. I thought awesome were going to have a cute waitress with great service. Well we ended up ordering 2 top shelf margaritas and the sampler. Well we waited around while everyone else was being served their drinks and they had ordered after us. Well the bouncer checking i.d.'s came to check on us, come to find out they were out of the tequila and had to go to the vault to get it out. Then our food "the sampler" came to our table, to give you an idea of how long we waited. Well first of all the waitress should have came and let us know and maybe brought some water to the table while we waited, because we were eating before we ever got a drink. Second, if your a tequila bar and all you serve is tequila maybe you should stock the bar up for the day that morning so people dont have to wait so long for their drinks. Then when we finally got our margaritas the waitress asks if we wanted to open a tab and we said "no this is all were going to have today thank you." She hands us our check for 44 dollars and says don't run cause I will get you, shaking her finger at us. Me and my husband looked at eachother in shock we have never been so disrespected while eating out.. we are very good tippers cause we have also been wait staff. But she crossed the line so we left 4 dollars. We would have probably had another margarita cause it was delicious and the food was pretty good, but the waitress by the name Celeste is the reason we give this place a 3 star rating and we were ready to leave after her disrespectful comment. We're not trash we can afford everything we order when we go out to eat and we tip 20 to 30 percent when we receive good- great service. We would go here for another great margarita and tip very well as long as we are not...

My wife and I have been to to several venues in The Spot and had a fine time, but our experience at Squeeze last night was awful. We waited 15 minutes for someone in a polo shirt (manager?) asked if we had been helped, and asked how long we had been waiting. The bartender brought us waters and menus a few minutes later, and our waitress finally showed up about 5 minutes later. We ordered drinks and an appetizer (that never came) and even though we told our waitress we were ordering food she didn't come back for over 20 more minutes to get our food orders. When we received our food I told the employee who delivered us our food that we never received our appetizer, and he said he would ask a manager to remove it. As we were sitting and waiting we watched other tables being greeted, and receiving drinks and appetizers within 10 minutes of arrival. When we received our check it still had our appetizer that never arrived, and when I told the waitress she said "I'll take it off." She did not apologize, nor did she have a manager speak with us. Having many years of food service experience myself I could not believe how terrible our service was with no apology or explanation...

In town on a weekend get away. Trip was fun but on our last night we decided to go have some late dinner and drinks. When we arrived police officer was rude and unwelcoming. We asked which one of the bars had the best food he told us in a rude tone as if we should have known this but they stopped serving food at 10:00. Then when we got inside and sat at a table we were not noticed. I had to walk up to the bar to get my drinks. Drinks were good but was told this is a tequila bar and they had limited stock. If I wanted a frozen drink I had to go upstairs.....but they closed early and the squeeze was...
