I can up there with a coupon I ask the young girl question about the coupon If I can get this or that and do I have to get the same sandwich that on the coupon so she didn’t so she went to the back to ask the supervisor or assistant manager she came to the front and she showed me the menu with the coupon deal on there it was under the build your own sandwich so I then asked her that I can build my own sandwich she said yeah ok so I did then it came back over the price so I ask what happened the assistant manager came back out and said “oh you got an extra meat “ I go oh my bad I didn’t know that’s why asked you before she made the sandwich can I do this ok cool the manager gets to yelling saying you got two meat that’s why it’s like this I told her it’s ok I will pay it but I asked questions she get to yelling and laughing talking to her employee in Spanish like really but she didn’t know that I can speak and understand what she was saying I’m a teacher I teach Spanish so yeah I was called names and she said that” that’s why she don’t take my kind and that I was basically dumb that I didn’t understood the coupon and when I told her that I understand what she’s saying she started back talking English and got really confused and frustrated and talk the other young lady to take me because she can’t deal with me so in Spanish and steady talked about me in Spanish to other Spanish customers wow funny and while I was paying she slammed the other sandwich in front of me and said you can take this with you rude I didn’t show no attitude no irritation no nothing I was treating sad and bad I will...
Read moreI guess the main issue is the staff just can’t listen properly. Started off fine, the wait was kind of long but not crazy, after I put on my toppings I said ‘That’s all’ and the lady threw ranch all all over the sandwich. When I looked and then weird and said ‘hey wait what’ they tried to scrape the ranch off of the tuna, and ignored me trying to tell them no. When they were putting on the toppings again they put the wrong ones and I kind of lost my appetite as well patience so I told them never mind, sorry, I don’t want the sandwich anymore.
Then they didn’t understand and completely remade it after we walked forward to pay for our other sandwiches. We asked them to take it off as we told them earlier we didn’t want it, they finally did but they gave us the messed up sandwich instead of the ones we paid for. Thankfully we double checked, because the tuna was cold and the turkeys were toasted- we asked the employee at the register if it was right and they just shrugged and said ‘I don’t know’.

First the manager tried to say we were too late and pointed to the clock, which showed we still had ten minutes. Then she said we could get the free sub but limited our choices to only three. Then she told us she could honor her promotion, but only if we paid for a drink and chips. Finally, when we made it clear we were there for our free sub and showed her the promotion on our phone, she threw together some flimsy, under-filled subs in a snit, didn't toast them for us or even ask, and angrily threw them in a bag. Those subs were anything but free and unfortunately for the Franchise, were a double negative. Find another place for lunch. (This store is the one in the Big Lots lot in Galveston). One star EARNED.
