Skipper's Beach Bar — Restaurant in Garapan

The setup is great, the service was awesome, but the quality of the product was horrible. The draft beer was warm, the bottle beer was warm. I had to get a bucket of ice to chill down the beers. And a bucket (5beers) of budweiser/budlight was the same as imported beer, which they were out of. For this bar to be located on Hyatt property, you would think the quality would be good. We were seriously disappointed and ended up having to go elsewhere for dinner. We ordered a cheeseburger, and it had stale chips. The quality of the burger was not great. The chicken keleguen had no flavor, and looked nothing like chicken keleguen. The tacos were bland. The only reason I gave 2 stars is for the workers. Located on the beach at the Hyatt Regency in Saipan, Skipper's is a great place for a casual dinner. All of the entrees were very reasonably priced under $20. We have eaten there twice and really enjoyed ourselves both nights. They don't start serving until 4:30pm and the hot food is prepared on the beach on the grill, or prepped in the kitchen ahead of time.
