Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan by IHG — Hotel in Garapan

As you enter the hotel lobby, everything and every detail is simply amazing! Clean, modern, updated; everything is really top notch. This didn't stop with the common areas, the rooms were not a let down. From the moment you walk in the room it continues with the same modern decor, clear, nice, updated, and very comfortable. You feel like you're getting your money's worth. I can't tell if the management and staff work really hard to keep everything clean, maintained, and in working order, because if not, everything looks, feels, and works like everything is brand new. And if it's not all brand new, then they fooled me and are doing a simply outstanding job at the care, up-keep, and cleanliness of the rooms and property. I have nothing negative to say about the property and rooms at all. A/C is the rooms... AWESOME and thank goodness it works correctly.||Nevermind the views, simply amazing and breathtaking. The staff always stop to say Hi and ask if anything is needed. The drinks, smoothie, and food has all been great. Never a let down.||Tons of activities all over the property, not only at the pool and beach, but all over they have big lawn games for outdoor play, and even a large collection of board games for calm low-key fun if you want to relax in the shade or sun while enjoying a drink during the day or during a relaxing night cap.||If you're visiting and staying on Saipan, it's not even a debate and there's nothing to discuss or think about. This is the only place you need to book while in Saipan. Trust me for the comfort, amenities, and money-to-value ratio, this is it and a must hotel property when on Saipan. ||If you choose to stay else where, you're not going to want to hear this, but... I stayed at the Saipan Crowne Plaza for 4 nights. The room, the price and the breakfast were all great. The lounge area, outdoor terrace, 2 swimming pools and being right next to Micro beach are all fantastic. The staff is all very helpful as well and I would stay here again in the future.

Here are the improvements I feel are needed for even a more outstanding stay:

1. Housekeeping forgot twice the bath mat for the shower to wipe your feet on. By missing this twice, they need to update their housekeeping checklist. This a basic amenity that should be overlooked.

2. I used the swimming pools quite a bit for 4 days but on 2 out of the 4 days, the hotel ran out of beach towels! This is more important in the evening where it is more chilly. They really need to anticipate the demand for towels or buy some spare towels. To witness this twice in 2 days is where I see management has dropped the ball. It took over 2 hours to try and get clean towels and that was only 20 more towels for many guests that need them.

3. The breakfast was good overall but just need to be more attentive at cleaning each of the food stations. Clean the crumbs and loose bread. Also, try and not make many of the items so salty and dry. I wish more of the food was juicy and moist.

Other than these minor issues, I would stay here again. As you can see my issues are more with the lack of communication between the staff and systematic changes on how you handle towel inventory. This isn't the problem of the staff but this is a problem of the management which needs to be more attentive. The staff did their utmost best for my good stay there..I hope management will...

The resort’s manager, Margaret, deserves a special mention. Her leadership is evident in every detail of this property. She goes above and beyond to ensure guests are well cared for, and her attention to detail and professionalism truly set the tone for an incredible experience.

Among the fantastic staff, Antonette and Gilbert stood out for their dedication, friendliness, and genuine care. Antonette was always ready with a kind word and helpful suggestions to make my stay even better. Gilbert’s attentiveness and excellent service truly elevated my experience.

However, it wasn’t just Margaret, Antonette, and Gilbert who made this stay exceptional—it was every single member of the staff. Their consistent kindness, efficiency, and professionalism made every interaction memorable.

The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with luxurious accommodations, stunning views, and a range of amenities that make it the perfect getaway. Whether it was the seamless check-in, the delightful dining experiences, or the relaxing ambiance, everything exceeded my expectations.
